Confession time, the outside decorations are up in all their brilliance for we and the neighbors to enjoy.

But the tree and ornaments are still in storage.........the Charlie Brown tree is starting to look good. Gifts purchased.......nothing wrapped though:jolly

Actually, I am not putting up a tree this year. First time since they were forbidden back in the olden days. :) I just don't feel like it. It's kind of nostalgic, actually. ;)

We aren't putting up a tree or any Christmas decor this year because we will be out of state with family over the holidays... so glad that I don't have to go through all that work.. but I'll get to enjoy it elsewhere :)

But I have lost most of my enthusiasm that I would have had in years past for Christmas decor.... I think it's pretty driving by looking at all the lights and trees in other people's yards, but I am so happy that I haven't had to do any of the work involved in Christmas decor this year....

Yes, it is freeing. What I like is I have a CHOICE to live the way I want. :) The world can't force me to put up a tree and rules and ideas can't force me not to. Life is good.:santathumb
