Anyone know of a good, larger moderate church in the Cleveland Ohio area? Any recommendations?

Middle of the road, tolerant, progressive music and worship.. Good biblical teaching and preaching without a lot of the spitting and snorting.. ;)

Yes, I know of good church in Cleveland I would consider moderate. I think they run around 70, not sure what you consider larger or moderate. They are a soul winning, community involved church so if you plan to show up and disappear in the crowd - never mind. PM for more info.

Jonathan Buckland is a good friend of mine, church planter, not sure of the size. Super nice guy. The Bridge Church is the name.

To clarify my point about snorting and spitting.. You ALL know what I mean.. Preaching heavy on screaming and light on message?? Gimme a break here.

This forum needs a progressive to con rating system. 1 to 10. 1 being you don't believe in going to the the doctor, only wear skirts dragging the floor and all long sleeves. 10 being, you believe anyone can do absolutely anything they want because it's "covered" by grace. Everyone should have to post their number.

Not really, I hate labels. Most of us are in the middle somewhere, why argue a point here or there??

For the record, I am probably a 6, a little slanted more toward grace than works. I go to movies, have dozens of TVs, and believe in living our faith and living out Matt 25 is more important than any passage in Deut.

I truly believe this forum is hopeless. You say someone who goes to the movies to see a CLEAN movie is a backslider, yet you have preachers and pastors speaking at the biggest conferences who turn out to be involved in only God knows what. (I certainly don't need or want to know).. I am 4th generation Apostolic, sir, and I believe this message with everything in me. Jesus cares far less whether I see a Disney movie as he does that I LOVE right and be His light to this world. ..John 13:35

Maybe some of you need to read Mathew 23.. as well as Mathew 25.

I am not going to get drawn into this petty discussion any longer. Thanks to those who offered valid suggestions. I am frequently in Cleveland on business and just looking for a place to go when I'm there.
