Please remember, this is the man (TB) that railed about Apostolic Identity and against associating with compromisers.

And it'll only cost you $50. Now folks, that's a travesty.

Dan Willis is currently hosting a weekly tv show on the Church Channel and pastor's in Chicago area. He is known for being very liberal, etc. His parents were old school upc pioneers. he is a brother to Andy Willis in Houston Tx. I find it interesting that the talking points are about restoration, healing etc. IMO, its a little early for TB to be teaching the body of Christ on these subjects.

Even his Bio is partly a lie. Say's TPC had a membership of 1,020 at the time of his resignation. Pretty sure they did good to even get that many there on a special event or occasion. This guy is so full of himself! Wow!

As someone who holds out the possibility of restoration to the ministry in some cases, I cannot see any possible way this might be a good thing 3 months after a serious fall/exposure.

Again, I'm just wondering what happened to Elder Black's strong stand for holiness?

What happened to his strong stand for Apostolic Identity?

What happened to his push to cut off fellowship with non-conformists?

This, to me, is almost as bad as the moral failure, and I've seen this occur with many men over the years. They preach standards very stridently, but when exposed for their fraudulent lifestyle they find comfort and sanctuary with the very people they previously demonized.

Same thing happened with Brother Fuller.

Again this must be someone I never heard of 'strong holiness?'

I think most would agree TB has been a part of the conservative bastion in the UPC.

Simply saying he has been known as a conservative by UPC standards.

Now? Not so much!

Again I am not bashing him but in conservative circles he was never known as a conservative preacher?

Seriously, how do you people find this stuff out? Do you scour the Internet for TB's name?

Yes.... and if you give us your real name, we'll get the 411 on you too! LOL.

I dunno. When I enter "TB" into Google, every hit that comes up has to do with Tuberculosis, with a few much later references to Tampa Bay, FL.

In your circles probably not, but in UPC very much so.

Tennesee would be one of the most liberal districts in the UPC and always has been. I am friends with many conservative UPC preachers and none of them considered him a conservative. Now compared to folks on this forum an ultra-con but to real conservatives in the org. nope.

Yes, I agree, Renda. At least LS thought him enough of a con to frequent the assembly in Memphis.

I find this readiness, and almost rush to get back in the saddle, as it were, all very disturbing.

People can argue that it is his business and not ours, and this is very true. But when we place ourselves in the position of authority, setting ourselves up as this or that, we leave ourselves open to this kind of discussion.

The bodies of the wounded have not begun to heal, and he is acting as though nothing happened...shameful.

I better stop before I get bashed for commenting on this topic again... :nod

Some people and pastors believe in Immediate restoration. God doesn't say, sit here for a bit.. you'll be restored if you repent long enough and hard enough..and if you go by man's timeline of how long you should be down for the count.

Jeff Arnold is one of these men, and I heard from of member of his church that he had TB preach for him not long ago.

Seems to me a clear and public confession is needed at minimum.

Nope TB was in service there a few weeks back but he was not allowed to preach. I have a friend in that church and they confirmed that. I think the most ironic thing about this conference is that it's a restoration conference. :heeheehee
I believe in restoration and have experienced it for myself but I had to be sorry and seem repentant in order to go through that process. smh

This is more than a few weeks back, and I KNOW FOR A FACT that he preached. I have the CD!
