VERY SICK~ Need everyones prayers!!!!
 

I was diagnosed with Diverticulitus at 30 years of age. With alot of UNDUE stress in my life, (which stress can trigger onsets) I need prayer for God to undertake! I am trusting God to take these things, straighten them out or remove them out of my life. I need much prayer from those who know how to reach God.

Matthew 18:20

Praying for you! Diverticulitis is an extremely painful disease. Will pray that the Lord's healing touch will minister to you.

Yes it is very painful sometimes but God keeps me through each time I go through. Thank you for the prayers

Thank you Bro Ron. Things are fine with my son. Seems like after posting for prayer, the swelling went down and all the tests came bck negitive. God is good! Thank you for your prayers~

Thank you so much for your prayers. It feels really good to know that I have people who will send up prayers in the time of need. I am feeling a bit better. Had a little cup of Oatmeal. I have not eaten in 2 days as my system dont even want to smell food when I have a flare-up. But God is a healing and merciful God and he will see me through just like every time b4 this one. ugh. I feel for you. I have this too.... dont eat anything for a few days.

start adding some good probiotics... actually eating sourkraut helps!

AND STAY AWAY FROM CORN AND NUTS.

oh and go to the DR! they will give you very strong antibiotics that will help clear it up. you can just about wipe out the sickness and get very much over it by doing that then following up with proper diet.

Thank you Ferd...I have some bad episodes that have put me in the hospital, and some that are "doable".... I have found the best diet ever.... going Vegan...and thats the way I am headed. Thank you for your prayers also. I feel so good knowing all the prayers that went up for me today. God bless you friend!

when this hits me, I dont even want to see or smell food. My husband has to nearly force me to even drink water. I will definantly try the sourkrout.....glad I like it already...lol not many do! Btw, any suggestions on the probiotics?

My father had diverticulitus and so do I. No fun at all. Luckily I have had less problems with it the older I get.

I will be praying for you as I know it can be a very painful condition.

Funny thing, my dad and all of the family on his side have this. When I was first diagnosed, my issues were very few. Now that I am getting older, they seem to be at my door every time I turn around. They are mostly mild episodes but like this last one, it hit pretty hard. I went up and got prayed for back in 2009 and I felt strong of Gods healing and "confirmation" was given to me the disease was gone.......but here I am ...... please understand I am not questioning nor doubting God at all. Just a little confused but still holding on to what I feel and believe in spite of what is happening. For people who have no idea what we go through with this painful disease.....all I can say (on a woman's level...who have had children) ... sometimes the pain is on the level of childbirth pain.....pretty bad!!!! I appreciate your prayers!!!

I can beleive it. My barber who grew up not far from where I grew up & is only 3 months older than me, had to have a Colonoscopy last June as they thought he had Cancer.
It wasn't, it was Diverticulitis & after a big diet change, which resulted in him losing quite a few pounds he is fine.
It was quite nerve wracking for him to find out what it was as he said it was painful!

To be honest, my diet before now has been a train wreck. I am not a big person or ever have been, even though I eat all the time...sweets and all........lol I only weigh 105 at 5 feet tall. (My husband says I should buy stock in Little Debbie/Betty Crocker and Nestle Toll House.....LOL) But I dont eat right and until recently when I became a member of ARA and we see really what all the animals go through for meat, fur, testing ... etc, so with all of that, I made the decision to go Vegan. It is something not many can do and really stick to it but I am fully devoted on 100% Vegan. This illness is a big stumbling block to my everyday life....when it hits, it sets me back quiet a bit, but God always sees me through. My doctor says Veganisim will almost curb it 99%, but we will see. Even if it does not, I am still in for the long haul of my devotion to what I feel and believe in my heart is the right decision for me. Thank you again for your prayers Bro Ron

I'm getting to where I just don't like the taste of meat. I've been considering going Vegan. I have a few physical problems myself and wondered if a vegan diet would help.

To be honest...what I see on a daily average of what animals go through for meat eaters, people who wear fur, makeup and even in the types of shampoo, skin oils...household products...I am going Vegan for that as my main reason....but it is a big...HUGE step towards a more healthy life. I do not buy ANY products from Johnson and Johnson, Proctor and Gamble...L'Oreal...I can name a list of others...bc they test on animals.....and they endorse University's to get Dogs and Cats from local shelters who can not be adopted, so they can do LIVE testing/LIVE surgical procedures (and other things that are horrible)...so yes I did make the right decision. I do not try and "sell" this to others bc it is a personal opinion and very heart felt conviction for me. But as for health reasons...yep...totally the right choice in my opinion.
