Ya, I felt that way about the two years wasted playing Mafia Wars on Facebook. (Is that "game" even around anymore??)

Kclee4jc,

Good luck and take care. Sorry you found conversing with the folks here of "minimal" benefit. Surprised it took you over 600 posts to find that out but to each his own.

God Bless

This struck me as rude.

I really didn't expect any rudeness from you. I think we may have conversed two or three times-- and it was never like what you have posted above.

You probably didn't mean what you have posted in a rude way at all.

What were you hoping to gain from participating here?

Yep, my thoughts as well!! I may not convert anyone to what I believe, but enjoy the interaction with folks with roots similar to mine.

Sorry to see ya go~ I don't agree with many of the posts/threads but I will not let someone or their comments, "run" me off. I never assume people will agree with my thinking or reasoning .... we are all individuals and have our own way of doing , living and thinking! Even if others don't see it my way or I don't see it their way....life goes on...and I am still coming back to AFF~Here is where I find prayer warriors that when in need of prayers...they send them up. Here is where I have made friends and can find support when needed. Have blessed day

I don't even know this person. But why do people feel the need to announce the desire to leave, then be nasty about it? If you don't like it, leave. No need to slam everyone.

It took you 2 years to figure that out?

When I see posts like this, my first thought is "Teen-age girl alert! Drama time!" Sounds to me like someone didn't get their own way, so now............

Oh well, hang in there. This person will probably be back. Only under a different name. I'm so glad we have a large number of people here who are REAL. We don't have to know your "real name" to know if you are "real", by the way!

When we post on forums we must always remember each one of us is different...I almost always find good in people. Margie my "twin" Sherri my missionary friend, Brother Epley always solid on what he believes, Randy Wayne a sweetheart, Michael the Disciple never bending, Crakjak always with a good outlook, CCI such a friendly preson, Timmy always keeping us laughing, Cindy always with her little faces she posts....why my goodness we may all see the scriptures different but we can all be friends and especially pray for each other.

I am from the old school...however I do know there are many good people here and some have been so kind to send me missionary offerings and some have told me they pray for me everyday. I am so blessed...

I don't have time to participate in a lot of conversations but am thankful for those that read my posts and missions news.

Hope that in some way I have been a blessing to AFF....

I'm taking my ball and bat and going home!

Oh, wait! That's what I did when I was 8 and the game wasn't going my way.

When I turned 9 I gained enough maturity to just finish out those difficult situations then just quietly and gracefully go home and never come back.

:foottap Well, I may have to go along with kclee4jc on bidding farewell. Sister Alvear posted the above and mentioned all the bolded names and didn't mention mine so I'm taking my toys and going home! JUST KIDDING!!! :happydance I do not agree with ANYONE on AFF 100%, (but so what I don't agree with my wife 100%.....please don't tell her though!) But, it's all of your options to be wrong, if you choose to be, and not agree with me! Why sometimes I find myself not even agreeing with myself!

I sometimes I get bored with the subjects, but there are times when you are bored with my subjects.... I guess! You don't respond! :heeheehee Oh well, have a good day, must be something good here I come back almost everyday looking. Ok, I'm nosey. :thumbsup

Sis A, this is a wonderful post. You are probably THE most loved and respected person here. Your missionary threads are so inspirational. What in the world would we ever do without you!

I think we all pick and choose which conversations we participate in. And there is not a thing wrong with that. I does make me sad when someone declares that they are leaving us. What makes us as good as we are is that there are so many different perspectives to consider on almost any topic that is discussed here.

Been Thinkin, I believe that if the truth were known, you and I would probably disagree about a whole lot of stuff :) But you are still another of my very favorites here. I look for your stuff! There are a number of people whose posts I look for (but I refuse to name names and tell you who because I would be terrified to leave someone out!)

Thank you Miss? Mrs.? or maybe I should just simply say thank you "sweet lady". Yes, thanks, you made my day. We might not disagree as much as you think. Earlier in my ministry I got tired of politics and preaching what someone told me I believed. I'm not trying to copy anyone except Christ and boy that is an overwhelming job sometimes. If I can do that I'll be blessed.

Thanks again, and may you be blessed.

Re: Farewell AFF

Seems like FollowingJesus and KCLee4J both have "run off" from AFF. What's up with that? While no one AFF ever really gets along and sees "eye to eye", we still have a community of people that *I think* care about each other. Like last week, when I needed prayer for my niece, many people prayed, and a miraculous intervention in her little life took place!
