regenerate/unregenerate

Is it possible to be regenerate but to live like the unregenerate?

Is it possible to sin and be saved? Yes.
Is it possible to persist in sin and be saved? Yes, but God chastens His children.

If a person persists in sin and never repents, then that person was never saved in the first place.

Re: regenerate/unregenerate

No if a person acts like a sinner he is a sinner.
Is it possible for a person to get saved and then sin later yes does this mean that they have instantly lost their salvation no but if they refuse to repent they lose it then.

It is 100% possible for a person to have been saved at one time and yet fall back into a lifestyle of persistent sin but this person is no longer saved they have LOST their salvation and are once again a sinner. To say otherwise is calvinism.

Do you lean one way more than the other? Also how would you answer your own question?

I don't know how to answer the question.

Re: regenerate/unregenerate

A regenerate person who continues in sin will begin feeling increasingly depressed and condemned until they either repent... or walk away from Christ for a life of sin.

Even after walking away from Christ for a life of sin... they MIGHT find space for repentance.

However, IF God cuts them off as reprobates... there is no hope.

How do we tell the difference? We can't. :(

Thanks my take on it.

Thanks. I'm doing a personal assessment.
