Take the Hermeneutics Test

I took this test and it says I am a moderate...I already knew that despite Liberals calling me conservatives and Conservatives calling me liberal

"You scored between 53 and 65, meaning you're a moderate on The Hermeneutics Scale."

I would have never guessed my result... In MY circles I am considered very conservative. Well even though I barely squeaked in to the progressive category... I'm kind of proud of it!

Fun quiz! I'm conservative (38), but liberal as they come to most Pentecostals since I go to a nondenominational church and don't value or uphold man-made laws and tradition.

Well, until Timmy takes the quiz, I can reign as the most "Progressive" :)

This result didn't surprise me, what surprised me was that there were a few questions that I answered 1 or 2, meaning I am still conservative in a few areas! (I believe they were regarding the Holy Spirit directly working on a person, and faith being more individually focused and determined rather than based on a tradition or community. )

Re: Take the Hermeneutics Test

I'm suprised it listed me as conservative. I was rather moderate on a few questions.

Wow....a 41 - Conservative....Hmmmm - I was thinking I would be a moderate, interesting.

Re: Take the Hermeneutics Test

We conservatives need to organize and exclude the moderates, liberals and progressives.

Wow. So you answered 1 on every question but 1 or 2. Whew - now THAT'S conservative :)

Although I would rate this quiz a bit less accurate than whatever shows up in a fortune cookie from a drive through chinese restaurant, it was interesting.

Think I broke it, sorry. :heeheehee

Actually, started to take the test, and too many questions didn't have an answer I could choose. So I quit. Is it a scale of 0-100? Why don't we just give me 120. :lol

Re: Take the Hermeneutics Test

I feel like I am a liberal conservative. I had a 34 on the scale, of course, I did pick a few answers lower down on the issue of divorce. That might have altered my scores a little. Oh well, we still know that I am a solidly in the middle of the conservative lane. Not as conservative as some, and not as liberal as some of other conservatives either.
