This is a joke. He just said he typed in what he thought was said and then used Sound Forge (which I've used before) to verify if the words HE typed were right or not.

Oh this is definitely scientific. According to his example, any tween in their bedroom could be an expert witness.

Judge should shut it down now. I was expecting something more credible. This guy and his methods are not.

I'm flip-flopping due to watching this pre-trial hearing. The state Prosecutors are terrible; and their witness today would just as well be a 10 year old in his pj's on skype talking about using his Apple GarageBand software to say whether or not his interpretation of unintelligible screams is correct or not.

If this is what we can expect of the Prosecution's case, Zimmerman will walk.

I couldn't hear a bit of what the Judge said before recessing.

KWSS1976 - did you hear what was said or what the plan is? Did the Judge suspend this motion as well?

Yea they are in Recess so the witness can get the email together to send over that both the Proc. and Defen did not have and the Prosecution is not happy at all with that..lol. The document threw a monkey wrench in the Prosecutions game plan.

I can't say how disappointed I am with this witness and motion. I was really interested to see how someone was able to extract "I'm begging you" and "stop" from what I've heard in the 911 call. And then to have this dude on skype talk about how he used Sound Forge, something available at Best Buy, and not just how he used SF, but how he had to type in what he thought was being said and had the software say whether or not it was accurate.

So disappointed. Waste of time.

I feel terrible, because this should be serious....but I'm laughing my rear off right now with this witness, the loud audio feedback, the annoyed Judge, the incredibly calm defense attorney - dude is slick, and the pros.

This "American College of Forensic Examiners" is a fraud. It's like going on Google to buy an Ordination License.

This guy is a fraud. Everything points to him. He has the standards on his website. He makes money on the sales of a program he used. He owns the website.

The Judge should deny the admittance of this as evidence. Defense is doing a great job of showing how bad it is.

And this is coming from a guy who believes Zimmerman is guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

Pros wanted the defense to give them their experts' statements and documents. Defense said it was protected information that wasn't covered by disclosure. The Judge ruled for the defense on the first set of emails; had to leave the room for a few minutes and missed the ruling on the second set.

I cannot understand what this guy is saying through the phone.
