just how far our present society, {including today’s Church World},
has now fallen by allowing WOMEN to fill places of authority over their
GOD Given Head

Enmity is kindled when you state a known fact :
“This custom is Directly In Violation To The WORD OF GOD “

Matthew 4:4 simply states
“Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth
out of the mouth of GOD”.

Lets Take A Simple Look
At What The BIBLE SAYS
About

“ LADY TALKERS “ -
God has a place for women in His Church ,
and if we try to do it GOD’S WAY, the Church will be richly blessed.
No Church will be complete without ‘GOD Fearing Women Who Are
NOT Afraid To Yield To The Presence Of Almighty GOD.

In the beginning Woman Was Created To Be A Helper,
Not To Rule, Or Have The Authority Over The Man..
“ And the Lord GOD said it is not good that man should be alone,
I Will Make A Helpmeet For Him “{suitable for him}
{ * Genesis 2:18 }
“ I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception, in sorrow
thou shall bring forth children, and thy desire shall be to thy HUSBAND,
And He Shall Rule Over Thee “
{ * Genesis 3:16 }

Apostle Paul taught that a woman was to be in SUBJECTION.

“ Let the woman learn in silence, with all subjection,
But I Suffer NOT A Woman To Teach
Or Usurp Authority Over The Man,
but to learn in silence “.
{ * I Timothy 2:11 }

“ Let your women keep Silence in the Churches;
for it is NOT PERMITTED unto them to speak;
but they are Commanded To Be Under Obedience,
as under the law “
{ * I Corinthians 14:34 }

“ And If They Will Learn Anything
Let Them Ask Their Husbands At Home,
For It Is A SHAME For A Woman To “SPEAK” In The Church “ !
{ * I Corinthians 14:35 }

“ If Any Man Think Himself To Be A Prophet Or Spiritual
Let Him ACKNOLEDGE That The Things I Write Unto You
ARE THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD “ !
{ * I Corinthians 14:37 }

A woman’s place is that of Obedience And Subjection
and instructions were clearly given in I Peter 3:17
“ For The Wives To Be In Subjection To Their Own Husbands “

“ But I would have you know that the head of every man is CHRIST,
the head of every woman is the Man, and the head of Christ is GOD “.

NOW
Let us look at some of the women recorded in the BIBLE.
Please do not fail to realize & recognize that there definitely
is a place for women in the Church as provided by GOD…
{ helper, helpmeet, worker, prayer warrior, example to the older
women, example to the younger women and to be an example to
the youth }
Not As Instructors of Men or Pastors.

We have selected six {6} examples from various parts of the Bible
to better explain our standard of Bible Truth.
We believe that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word
must be established and we will not preach nor permit anyone to be
in our pulpit if they cannot back it up by two or more scriptures.


EXAMPLE # 1 “ M I R I A M “
{ Read The 15th Chapter of Exodus }

Miriam led the women in singing, led the women out and played a tambourine –

EXAMPLE # 2 “ D E B O R A H “
{ Read The 4th Chapter of Judges }

DEBORAH had a close relationship with GOD. The men of
that day, { as it is in our day }, were weak in spirit, weak
in zeal, having absolutely no courage.
They also shirked their responsibility by putting the load,
{ that they were supposed to be carrying }, on the women.
They came to this GOD Fearing Woman and asked for advice.

She never usurped authority over BARAK,
but just told him what GOD had revealed unto her. Barak was so
spineless, yellow livered, weak in the knees and scared.
He would not go into battle unless she was willing to go with him.
DEBORAH told BARAK that he would lose honor if she went into
the battle with him because the enemy would be delivered into the
hands of a Woman.

HULDAH prophesied,
but the fact remains that
the King Led The People To The House Of GOD….

ANNA was a righteous and GOD Fearing woman
who fasted, prayed, prophesied and gave testimony
as to the Messiahship Of JESUS …..

EXAMPLE # 5 “ The Daughters Of Phillip “
{ Read The 21st Chapter Of Acts }

The “ DAUGHTERS OF PHILLIP “ went to Sameria and
‘ did Prophesy thus fulfilling the Prophesy Of JOEL -
“ That In The Last Days I Will Pour Out My Spirit Upon All Flesh,
And Your Sons And Daughters Will Prophesy . . . .

EXAMPLE # 6 “ P H E B E “
{ Read The 16th Chapter Of Romans }

PHEBE was a Succourer of many. Just what does that word mean ?
According to Webster:
> to help, > to give aid, > to obtain relief for persons in need.

Let us review the BIBLICAL FACTS .

What do I think about lady talkers? Well, my wife is a lady and occasionally she is quite the talker and she is all right with me.

Now lady preachers?........That is an entirely different subject!!

I'd just like to know one thing....since when does one man have authority over another man's wife?

If you say women can't usurp authority over the man (which isn't speaking about all men, btw), where do you have scripture that says the preacher can usurp authority over another man's wife?

I'm sure she'd love to jump in here, but she is quite busy and might not be around for a while yet....perhaps a month. She only occasionally stops by if I tell her about something to read, but her job changed locations and she's also moving 25 miles away from her present location this month.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I'll tell her you said HI!

I think you pick and choose the scriptures as you will. IF you really believed the scripture that says a woman is not to SPEAK, think how quiet the church would be. Who would teach the sunday school classes? Who would sing in the choir?

I respectfully disagree with your opinion regarding Deborah. The scripture very plainly says,

And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
[5] And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

Deborah WAS in a place of leadership and authority in Israel. The scripture doesn't say she judged the women of Israel, it says she judged Israel (that would include the men.)

Not to mention that there were times the priests needed a word from God, but instead of God giving it to them directly, He sent them to Deborah.

i have said this before so some will think im repeating myself... hee hee..


my great grandmother was a pennycostal preacher.

I have been tremendously blessed the last couple of days by listening nonstop to a CD of a message preached in my city last Wednesday night.

The preacher is Pastor Sheryl Brady and she's from NC...the message was SO powerful!!

Well, unfortunately, according to some on this forum, if you were saved under a woman preacher, or "lady talker", as our eloquent Bishop so denotes, you weren't really saved.

So, you better go back and re-receive the Holy Ghost after a "man talker" preaches, or else you're headed for hell, my friend!:lol

My husband does the laundry.I do the cleaning and cooking.Together we
are a team.We didn't have a litter only three but we still like to make
peanut brittle and clean the church anyway.God gave me an Aquilla.

Wimmin in the OT ONLY prophesied to men who were weak and spineless. Wimmin could ONLY speak for God to men under thsoe circumstances. Of course, we know we have NONE of them around today and of course, if any of them were, they would GLADLY submit to a woman. Men who are strong and manly throw their weight around and NEVER let a woman get the upper hand! Men who have a woman preacher and actually listen to anything she has to say are weak and spineless. Men who are strong rant and pound the pulpit and say "There will never be no bobbed harred woman preacher in MY pulpit!"

I love this kind of preaching!!

Does the fact that we all receive the Spirit of God put us on equal footing in the body of Christ? The slave, the female, the male, the Greek, the Jew, we have all become one in Christ through baptism in his name and the infilling of his Spirit. To be 'in Christ' is to be in the body of Christ by virtue of the new birth. If the distinctions are lost because of this and we're all on equal footing in the kingdom of God, why would the gifts given to the members of the body by segregated according to gender?

According to this 'logic' then two HG filled men could marry.

Not that notion is wrong as two boys kissing.

I think this scripture shows an equality within the BODY OF CHRIST.

Like it or not the word does say neither male nor female.Its the bible.Plain and simple.

Because it is in the best interest of his ignorant position of no female ministers to bring up such a strawman to defeat.

It's called deflection.
