Please Pray Bandits are in our yard
 

We had all just laid down here at the compound and one of the families phones us to say bandits were trying to open their door...now the the lights that have sensors are coming on and going off... Please pray...

Sis. Alvear, you have several people praying, but I hope there are reliable law enforcement people that you can contact, too - if you feel you need to do so.

Reliable law enforcement???? The last time bandits broke into their home they stole everything including one of the children.They tied the Alvears up etc.They emptied the house out as though a moving company had arrived.
Much prayer is needed.The area of Brazil sister lives in has corrupt law enforcement.You can't just up and call the cops like in America.

Yes they dumped him off in a village down the road after they safely rode off with all the Brother and Sisters stuff.Its not like she can replace it easy either.
Things are expensive

Lord God, we pray your Mighty Hand of Protection upon the Alvear's

home and family right now, in the Name of JESUS!! May the angel of the

LORD encamp about them. Lord, keep your people, keep their home,

in Your Mighty Name. Unless YOU keep the city, the watchman waketh

but in vain. Unless YOU build the house, they labour in vain that build.

Therefore, we look to YOU, Lord Jesus, to keep these dear missionaries

from harm, IN JESUS Name we pray. Thank You, Lord, for Your Name is

a strong tower, the righteous runneth into it and is safe!!!JESUS, JESUs

Thank everyone for your prayers. It is not our custom in Brazil for Christians to have a gun but a friend gave my son His gun and last night he shot several shots in the air after the couple called us and told us men were in the yard...
We all stayed in our room and prayed for a good while later we heard 5 or 6 shots up the road so God changed their direction and they went somewhere else.
It is so dangerous where we live but it is dangerous in other areas in this town...
My husband called the police but they never came and called a guard he knows but he was somewhere else and could not come...Thank the Lord for the weapon of prayer.

The devil hates us and stirs up all he can to take away our peace but we know when he is working like he is that the real reason is light has shinnned into his dark kingdom and precious souls are finding their way out.
Just yesterday one of our teams was down in another state lead by our son Michael and 4 new people came to the Lord and a man all curved over was instantly healed and stood up and walked away completly healed...Our kids had just got in from that state right before the bandits arrived!
In our local service we had several to come to the Lord so it is normal that the devil will fight back.
We love you folks and please keep our safety in mind.
