no, I'm taking it easy in march. februray has been so busy.
I considered going to the one in washington DC at the beginning of march too but I feel like staying home. April is going to get hectic again.

I don't think Garlington has oneness roots or a personal background in the oneness movement. (I could be wrong though)

we had a lady who attended our church for about 5 years. she was from Pittsburg,PA where he pastors and said he use to talk about being raised in strict old time pentecost. I heard it on a tape myself. he wasn't ncessarily bashing it but making some point about being relevant or something. anyhow, she said he was from a oneness background. maybe she is wrong? I do know that Tutor was in the UPC at one time

Thad, I don't think Bismark and Garlinton are X Oneness preachers! Have you heard they changed their doctrine and renounced Oneness or do you just mean they are not UPC?

Bismark is definitely ex-UPC but he is still oneness. I have never heard anything from Garlington to intimate he has oneness ties, but he may certainly have been "old-timey" pentecost.

I should have just spoken about Bismark because I have never heard of the other guy and I don't know if he ever was Oneness. My point was has Bismark denounced Oneness or did you just mean he was exUPC rather than exOneness?

Tutors family and himself were UPC Missionaries in Zambabwe,Africa. they worked along side Chelettes and Rodenbush.
We were with him at Eddie Longs church in January and we talked about the UPC DAYS. He is a great preacher.

I had the opportunity to attend the recording...but work will not let me get away at this point. I will be gone for a weekend in March anyway and right now is a very busy time for us. I am bummed I am not going to be able to make it.

I think Joseph Garlington was from some sort of Church of God in Christ background, or something similar. Definitely holiness Pentecostal, but I don't think he was oneness. Could be wrong though. He spoke at a conference we were at last year,and he was AWESOME!!
