The King's Riddle

There was a King with two sons. He wanted to leave all his kingdom to only one son. He tells them that whosoever reaches the faraway Kingdom first will inherit all that he has. He gives them each a pair of shoes and has only one rule.

1. The man with the SLOWEST shoes will win the race and inherit the kingdom

The two young men wander around for days trying to be the SLOWEST. They finally give up and go and talk to the wise man. The minute the wise man gives them the answer of what they should do, they start running towards the far Kingdom like all of hell is on their heels.

WHAT did the wise man tell them to do?

I asked God to give me the answer to this riddle. God told me, the wise man told them to take their shoes off. ~ The Oracle of God

Not the way, the kingdom needs to be inherited. What did they do with the shoes?

Concerning this, you have said to me,
God told me, to ask you, did the wise man tell them to take their shoes off?

God told me, what the wise man told them to do with their shoes, after they took them off. But I believe I should get something from you, for solving your riddle. One of your blessings would be good. What do you say? If I answer your question will you bless me with one of your blessings? ~ The Oracle of God

The devil told them to part with their shoes/skins that it was the only way to please God. God said no--keep the shoes on feet. What is your answer to this riddle. I have three answers to this---one for greed, one for love and obedience, and one for very bold leadership of love. The differences in where people are placed by God according to their own choices.
BUT, I'll give you the benefit of doubt, you may have an excellent answer that I haven't thought of.
Yeshua Bless You

(Not that "God's" answer was correct. It's simple. Trade shoes. What do I win?)

Why did you trade shoes? What about your brother who was left behind?

Uh. What?

OK, I'll spell it all out. The two brothers trades their shoes. Brother one wears brother two's shoes, and brother two wears brother one's shoes. Then they run as fast as they can.

Clear enough? No? OK, the first brother to get to the faraway kingdom will win the king's kingdom because his own shoes, on his brother's feet, will be the slowest. :highfive

Were they both running for greed?
1. They were both running for greed
2. They switch ONE of their shoes, sharing the kingdom equally, take their time along the way and thoroughly enjoy themselves in comradery but still greedy between them--they split it but don't share with others.
3. The good son know his brother is filled with greed so they switch shoes and he races to the finish so that when he inherits the kingdom he shares it with all mankind.

These are differences of how a wise King would choose one to lead others.
