Tim Storey
Anyone ever heard this guy preach/teach??
|
Re: Tim Storey
He preached at a church I attended. The man spoke a prophesy over me and my wife at the time. He said that we'd have a house within the next two months. What he didn't know is that we had already been looking and were trying to get approved for a home loan. Within the next two months... we moved into our new home.
He would be preaching and suddenly stop... stand a person up... read their mail... and declare the will of God for their lives. It was a powerful experience at the time. |
Re: Tim Storey
He will be in our Church Sunday that is why I am asking, just getting ready, as I have heard he was pretty extreme...lol

Re: Tim Storey
Just watched a promotional video from his "School of Miracles". His goal is pretty clear. "My goal is to duplicate myself."
Not someone I'd wanna follow. |

This is something that turned me off after over 20 years in the UPCI. There can be so many cults of personality. Everyone wants to be conformed into the image of this man of God or that man of God. I was a Jerry Jones & Jeff Arnold devotee. Then came the "Apostolic Identity" movement which aimed at countering the relevancy movement within our ranks. We're so focused on being Apostolic and being conformed into the image of what we traditionally think is Apostolic that we miss the boat... God doesn't want us to be Apostolic... God wants us to be... Jesus. So filled with Jesus that we are conformed into the His image and likeness. So filled with Jesus we set aside the carnal mind to put on the... mind of Christ. God desires that we lose ourselves and becoming living branches of the true Vine... living extensions of Jesus Himself. That trumps ANYTHING in the Apostolic Identity movement or the cults of personality within the ranks of Pentecost. But we're missing the boat for the most part. At least... that's my conviction. :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-o-fxjuwEvA |
Re: Tim Storey
A devoted Christian can still miss heaven by being conformed into the image of their pastor, some evangelist, their church, or their denomination. You see... one can be a sterling Apostolic... but Jesus ISN'T an Apostolic.
