Does he travel in one of those cool "Popemobiles"?

I was in his presence a couple of years ago at the First Church dedication here in Nashville.

Monkeyman 06-06-2007 11:20 AM

Any time you meet a payment. - Good Times.
Any time you need a friend. - Good Times.
Any time you’re out from under.
Not getting hassled, not getting hustled.
Keepin’ your head above water,
Making a wave when you can.

Temporary lay offs. - Good Times.
Easy credit rip offs. - Good Times.
Scratchin’ and surviving. - Good Times.
Hangin in a chow line - Good Times.
Ain’t we lucky we got ‘em - Good Times.

Monkeyman 06-06-2007 11:25 AM

The first time I heard that song was IN AN APOSTOLIC CHURCH! I thought - WOW - we have come a LONG WAY!!!!!!!!!! LOL
I asked the Pastor about it after the service and he said it was a very popular song on The Fish - Radio! I was SHOCKED!!!!!!!!!
I love the song and I request it often of our Praise & Worship Staff.

BTW - I used to preach in NB at Black River or Black Harbor or some place like that. It was a good church and the pastor - I think was a Pastor Marcarty - I think - or something like that. He was a great man and we had a LOT of people filled with the Holy Ghost in my meetings there - but it was always COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scott Hutchinson 06-06-2007 01:04 PM

My pastor has changed to words to that part of that second verse. I can't recall exactly how, but if it comes to my memory, I will share.
