End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
I was listening to some music videos today, and this lady's video came up in the sidebar. I clicked and listened, and I posted it for you.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
Why not just stick to the King James version?
I don't trust other translations... And what's the point about the women? There are lots of Godly women mentioned in scripture. I fail to see the issue here? Maybe "christian women's lib" at work here….? :heeheehee |
KJV is a poor translation

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
For the record says "I have sent before thee Moses, Aaron and Miriam."

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
I didn't find anything in what she said that was any more than "women will be preaching the gospel of Jesus." Perhaps she is stretching it a bit to try to find deeper meaning in the original Hebrew with the female noun, but regardless... I believe preaching is what we ALL are called to do.... and the CHURCH is female when referred to by Jesus.
So, in one sense, all believers make up the church, which is described in the female sense all throughout scripture. In this sense, it would also apply to every one who makes up the body of Christ, to be preachers of the gospel, male and female to fulfill the calling of the church, which is to spread the gospel of Jesus. My take, anyway. |

*No such thing as a "woman preacher" (in the official set-in ministerial office) according to the Bible - It couldn't possibly be clearer :thumbsup.
*Personally, my family & I (as well as innumerable preachers we know) would walk out if a "pastor" allowed a woman to get up & "preach/teach" a service in the face of such crystal-clear Scripture (e.g., I Timothy 2.11-15; I Cor. 14.34-35; etc.) :shockamoo. :happydance |
Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
Acts 8 teaches that men and women went everywhere and preached the gospel...wnat to be a part of the Acts church...
|
Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
I DO NOT FIND Timothy 2.11-15; I Cor. 14.34-35; Hard to explain at all....
|
Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
However I am not the type to fight...it is ok for you to walk out when I am speaking...

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
I would far rather hear what Sis. Alvear has to say because of her sweet spirit and love for souls, than hear what RDP would have to say because of the proud spirit he always displays. Let RDP and his ilk walk out... they will continue in their narrowmindness not doing a thing to further the gospel... more like hinder it... while the Alvears are loving people, and showing them Jesus, a far greater thing to be doing.

Me either - I allow the texts to stand on their own merit without any assistance from me  11 A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. 12 But I do NOT allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. 13 For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. These passages are NOT talking about "a wife not instructing her husband in the home environment" & I have emails from the greatest Greek scholars on the planet stating why on an exegetical-syntactical plane (I know about the ol' "gune'" vs. "aner" argument & it does not stand up to textual scrutiny). This old attempt to explain away the plainness of these passages simply won't work exegetically. Won't waste much time with this again - too busy traveling from place to place right now & besides, I don't waste a lot of time on here any more (for reasons such as this thread-topic). Ironically, I just taught an in-depth lesson on this topic for one of the most respected & well-known preachers in Pentecost (at his request). God Bless any way :thumbsup! |

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
I am old now...soon my sickle will rust ...however there are an army of over ten thousand that will continue to preach in Brazil...If I was wrong and shall be lost because I preached and told the story of Jesus I am one....they are thousands...I am willing to be lost for them to be saved...
Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went. ..I would suppose that THOSE does include women.... |
Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
I am a missionary by calling an English teacher by profession....But Saul was ravaging the church, and entering house after house, he fdragged off men and women and committed them to prison.
Philip Proclaims Christ in Samaria 4 Now those who were scattered went about preaching the word. If verse 3 says men and women it stands to reason verse 4 is talking about men and women....and those ...men and women....went everywhere preaching the word... |
Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
..ROM.10:14 How then shall they (MEN AND WOMEN) call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15..And how shall they (MEN AND WOMEN) preach, except they be sent? as it is written, are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
I just finished doing a 1500 picture powerpoint Bible study to leave with the Brazilian Church after the Lord takes me home on this very subject...My priceless gift to them...upon my death...Not to defend me for my life has already been lived on the mission field. (46 years) but to defend our precious ladies that toil night and day. It is not for sale a just a gathering of information of a lifetime...and to protect them from serpent seed doctrine that we have fought very hard.

Umm, Sis. Alvear, here is the actual text without your interpolations: 14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” You may feel comfortable doing so, but I could NEVER add my own words into the biblical data. I expect you'll begin with the usual copy-paste jobs from your computer (courtesy of John Scheel - which have been refuted long ago). Again, simply do not have a lot of time to waste rehashing the same ol' arguments ad nauseum - but I do want you to know that I respect your sacrifices & rejoice in the souls you've converted (though I adamantly disagree with your posture in the area of so-called "women preachers"). God Bless any way. |

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
I do not have Brother Scheels book in fact I did have it at one point but someone asked me for it...
My friend, I know Jesus called me and I am sorry you see no room for me but you will find out I am not the pushy type...in fact I am not really even a platform person...my greatest work has been preaching under shade trees. leper colonies, indian villages and in the far remote interior lands of Brazil...have no worry I am no threat to anyone.... |
Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
yes my son began preaching at 8...so he was a child...I began preaching at 12...

8 And Saul approved of his execution. And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. 2 Devout men buried Stephen and made great lamentation over him. 3 But Saul was ravaging the church, and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison. 4 Now those who were scattered went about preaching the word. The men & women were in prison - it was those scattered abroad (as the texts above clearly states) who went about preaching the word - not the women in a prison cell :hmmm. Regardless, they were not preaching to a mixed congregation of men & women believers - but rather witnessing to the lost - huge diff. Okay - gotta' run. God Bless...... |

Acts 20:2
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. If you want to call what I do testifying that is fine with me...Paul did not have a problem with testifying the gospel... |

Yes, I believe men and women went everywhere preaching the word of God...God called children in the Bible and still calls them today...we have several children that feel their call to preach.
I think we all know they did not even have church buildings back then as we know them today...in fact the mission field would more resemble the early church than the church in America. |
Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
The first church established on European
soil was by Paul in Lydia's house. Now, if a woman is not suppose to preach why would Paul do such a thing? |

Here's the actual Greek text: http://biblehub.com/text/acts/20-2.htm. besides, Paul was a man - big diff. Same Paul who expressly forbade women to preach/teach men in I Tim. 2 & I Cor. 14. |
Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
They:they
Use They in a sentence they [they] Show IPA plural pronoun, possessive their or theirs, objective them. 1. nominative plural of he, she, and it. 2. people in general: They say he's rich. 3. (used with an indefinite singular antecedent in place of the definite masculine he or the definite feminine she ): Whoever is of voting age, whether they are interested in politics or not, should vote. |
Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
So women cannot be prophetess?
You KNOW they can for the Bible says they can and a prophetess is a female prophet...and yes she gives the word of the Lord... |
