I suppose I must join the party with my own thoughts with the "I would have loved to have been a... "
... I would have loved to have been a nurse. That was always my dream as a child, but it wasn't meant to be. Even though there is always the "someday" possibility... the desire I had to be a nurse when I was a child was of the Florence Nightingale brand... but all the stress and paperwork that nurses have to deal with today... well it's not the job that it was 20 years ago, and I'm happy to be where I'm at today. I would also have loved to have more children. We're banking on grandkids though! Maybe someday, higher education will be possible, but right now we're busy raising our children, and I take that very seriously. I want to be the best Mom I can to our children, and then later, see what opportunities the Lord may bring. But for now, I am very content to be exactly where I'm at :) |

I have fulfilled some of my dreams:
I have the home I've always wanted I have traveled to the places I wanted to see I've completed my education, and loved going to school There are a few things I would have changed: To be better at relationships To be independently wealthy and not to have to work at a job I don't love (but am thankful for anyway I should add) |
Re: I would have loved to have been a ....
Really, I would loved to have been ME. I have enjoyed my life, even with faults, failures and the sadness that life has thrown my way. I married the right woman, my kids love me and my grand kids adore me. Why would I even want to change that? God and life have been good to me.
