THE wimps are the ones who won't stand up for God's Word or live it.

I can handle most but a person who does not believe the bible and makes light of it I can not tolerate.

Re: blocking
There are many times I see things written that I don't agree with, and I either keep scrolling down, or sometimes I read what they have to say just to hear them out. If you believe you have truth, then that same truth should be able to stand the test of whatever fire comes against it.
Running to hide when that truth (that you claim to have) is accosted seems to fit the definition of what I would call wimpy... |

Re: blocking
Believe me I am not running to hide.
But there is no way to deal with an individual who will not accept God's Word. Not going to waste my time and energy. When I was younger I would have but not now. As I said I can deal with those who disagree with me on the Word (though they are wrong) but someone who does not believe the bible I will not deal with. So go ahead and stone me but that is the way it is. |

Re: blocking
Pastor of the first church I attended had this attitude too. Grateful others didn't....
How do you suppose someone gets from not accepting God's word to accepting it? Or from not believing it to believing it? I doubt that happens during conversation with others who don't believe. Seems much more likely to happen during conversation with those who believe. Quote:

Re: blocking
One of the reasons I come to this forum is to be harrassed and to harrass.
No if ands or buts. Well, maybe there are a few butts, buts, however you spell it.... C'mon Arky Pastor, you can take it. I must admit, this place can be theraputic at times. Come here, do a few drive by posting and ..."Viola" I get to sleep a little better knowing that my little contribution to a conversation was able to help somebody's day! Just think, to know that my posting helped someone learn a little more about their fruits of the Spirit, tha is comforting to me! Ah, go ahead and bun me, I will still post on your thread and you will have to wonder what is being said and then go back and unbun,.... Bwahahahahahahahahahaha |

Re: blocking
The interesting thing about blocking people on the forum is that you still see that they have posted because the forum software will tell you their post is hidden because you chose to block them. Unless something has been changed, their posts may still show up in quotes and you will see when people respond to their comments. Kinda defeats the purpose of blocking folks if you ask me.... and besides that... My curiousity would end up getting the better of me and I'd have to unhide the post to read it anyway. Of course, you can block anyone you choose if it makes the place more pleasant for you. :D
