Prayer Needed for Bass Family
 

Yesterday, Trent Bass (son of Pastor Timothy Bass and Grandson of Pastor Wade Bass of Ocala, FL) was killed in an auto accident while returning home for PEAK Youth Conference in Tulsa, OK.....he was 18 yrs old. Please pray for the entire Bass family, their church and friends.

I just saw this. My heart breaks when I read news like this. As the father of grown children I can't imagine what it would be like to lose one of them.

The drivers area looks intact and not crushed. I hope this is not a case of someone not wearing a seat belt and getting thrown out or hitting their head on the windshield. I know a lot of Southern folks who don't wear seatbelts and don't realize that a great number of fatalities happen from being thrown from the vehicle or hitting their head on something when not buckled in. I have relatives who are convinced that seatbelts are dangerous.

That's pretty much how it happened. The news report says he was an unbelted passenger and was ejected.

If you scroll down from the picture it says "ejected Bass who was a passenger with no seatbelt. Three other individuals in the vehicle were transported from the scene by ambulance to Forrest General Hospital".

My heart aches for this family. I lost my brother at 18. It is a hard thing.

I last saw Trenton on Thursday night at Peak.
He went from dancing and praising God down here, to dancing on streets of gold.
God Bless and help the Bass family in this time of sorrow.

They are having internet problems at the campground where the service is being held they are going to record it and rebroadcast it at a later time.

I have seen lots of pics and small video snippets from
the service. It was held at the UPC campgrounds of
FL because there was not enough room at their home
church. Looks like they had church...I believe it was
said that some got the HolyGhost, and I'm sure the
young man would be happy about that. :)
