Dontcha Love The Ads on this site?

Shows a woman in white, looks like a redneck girl, with the caption under her!

"I cheat for men over 40"

WOW!!!

What a ad for a Apostolic Website!!!!

I will have our guru's check into it. I thought we had fixed the problem of inappropriate ads here.

Whenever I go to Amazon.com and look for something there, every time I will see an ad on here for the same product on Amazon. It's the same when i visit Grand Canyon University or church leaders.com. After the visit, I see ads on this site.

I don't know the specifics, but typically ads are unique to the internet history/cookies of the computer being used.

You are correct. We don't all see the same ads and many times they do correspond to something searched for on a search engine on that computer.

Some thing are just inexplicable though as I lately have gotten some emails from a "Black Singles" dating site as well as some lovely nubile young women with not a lot of clothes on wanting to be my friend on FB although I don't recall meeting them and I think I would. LOL!!!

There are definitely ads that come up advertising things that you have looked at either on Amazon, ebay, or other online places. However, there are also ads that pop up randomly too. It's a combination of both.

I went through and blocked those ads as well as the url. We do our best to block as many inappropriate ad categories as we can, but it's an ever changing game and things still sneak through sometimes. All we can do is block them when they show up. Thanks for letting us know!

Did you have to click on all of them? I mean, I only clicked on three to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing! And, I only looked two times because three constitutes lust! I was sure to be safe!

LOL

I don't know. I don't use IE or Chrome. I've had more things come up in my Spybot scan when I use Chrome.

You are doing a fabulous job.

You are never going to please the whole world anyway, so just grin and bear it. :thumbsup

Yes, any ad is bothersome for me. Should anyone that uses an ad blocker refrain from posting on this site, to be fair to the owners?

Adblock Plus is good at blocking advertisements and you can disable it for any site you want.

Sorry for the late reply...

Absolutely not! Everyone is always welcome! Just wanted folks to know that we rely on that little ad strip every February. :winkgrin

Okay, so... apparently there's a little "eye candy" in the adds. I just appreciate the beauty and move on. However, I'd not be bothered at all if the adds were of a more Christian nature. After all... this is a Christian forum.

I didn't even know that this side had ads! As much as I despise them, I "whitelisted" this domain, your welcome!

Well, since I've clicked on PO's thread about cakes... now I have cake decorating classes being advertised... Wow! ... lol! It is crazy how everything you do is tracked, and then used to try to bring in $$!
