Stop Living In Sin!
All over-eaters are lost as two boys kissing!

Re: Stop Living In Sin!
Prov. 23:19-21
19 Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way. 20 Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: 21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags. |
Re: Stop Living In Sin!
Prov. 23:1-3
1 When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee: 2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite. 3 Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat. YIKES! Strong words here - put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite! |

Re: Stop Living In Sin!
Speaking of living in sin I have lost track of your church / spiritual journey. The last I recall you had gone back to a UPC church. Are you still there and thus not living in sin?

Strongs 8441 and 8263 It staggers the imagination how strongly this is resisted. We all know Duet 22:5 is one of the most important doctrines to Apostolics. They really hold to it regardless of the fact its under the law. And the same law says its an abomination to eat shrimp and catfish BUT.......we know that's not for us! And that one in Leviticus about NOT CUTTING THE BEARD......HOW DID THAT GET IN THERE? Anyone else get the double standards? |

I agree with you on the beards, but I don't think ladies should wear pants. It may not be a heaven or hell issue depending on the heart of that individual person, but I think our culture is moving in the wrong direction. I may be old fashioned on somethings, but in most cases we were better off the way things used to be. |

but you can not use the Bible for it, for pants are never mentioned in the Bible. |

Re: Stop Living In Sin!
My PREFERENCE is that women would wear full length skirts or dresses. I cant use Duet. 22:5 to make it so being it is of the law. Yet it seems nature shows men and women should have some kind of distinguishing dress.
If women are going to wear dresses that show their legs I would prefer loose fitting pants. |

:highfive I haven't been a member of a UPCI church in well over a year and the return you speak of was over a year ago and very, very brief (as in one or two Sundays). Here or there is not a sin. Over-eating fat people are living in sin and must repent! |
Re: Stop Living In Sin!
Repent ye sinners!
Repent ye overindulgent! The Kingdom is at hand! |
