Whatever happened to some of these AFF Members?
I've been on and off with AFF for several years. I joined in Feb 2007. Mostly, I've been a lurker, but I've put up posts at different times and even started a few threads. I was just thinking about some of the posters that have been on this forum over the years and wondered what happened to them, since I don't see their posts any longer. Some of those that I remember are
Coonskinner Steadfast Atlanta Bishop Rev Randy Wholehearted Monkey man Piano man Sherri Daniel Alicea or DAII |
Re: Whatever happened to some of these AFF Members
Coonskinner is still an ultra con coon hunting pastor!
Pianoman is still on here but under a different name DA is banned for life Sherri - hmmm....don't know. Didn't realize she wasn't posting still. I will let other folks update the status of the others. |
Re: Whatever happened to some of these AFF Members
CC1, you were another I was just about to add to my list. I don't see your posts very often anymore. I see you are an administrator.
Daniel Alicea, I think I do remember that he was banned, came back, and was banned a second time now that you mentioned it. |

I think Daniel Alicea was DAII. I think this was his name before he got banned the 2nd time. He is one that I do not miss.

How about Pelathais and Felicity?

Felicity spent a few years in China but is back home now. Pelathais is diligently bashing the Obama administration. |
Re: Whatever happened to some of these AFF Members
I am present! Not here every day and primarily because I have a heavier schedule... Working 70 hrs a week the last six months. Second I do keep up with many AFF members and former members on FB.
Love all here and hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas! |

Nobody misses John Atkinson? c'mon.... He went pagan. Of course he never was too active here. Personally, the very nature of online relationships are impermanent . You meet people. You establish a rapport, you like, even love those people. But... it's vapor.
It is the nature of online communities. AFF is still here and thriving. I am happy about that. Bright Yule blessings on all of you, and may the light of the new born sun bring you warmth, hope and prosperity in the coming year. Your heathen brother... John Atkinson |

To your question, if a person has an open account on FB, you can read their posts without logging in. For example, many politicians, churches, businesses etc. have open FB pages. Some people I follow on Twitter will link their FB comments, i.e., Mark Levin for example - and you can read what they have posted. So, in Google, you would type - Mark Levin Facebook and his link to FB will show up. Click the link, read his posts. I'm not interested in hooking up with people I don't email, text or talk with on the phone. If you are not close to me, I am not going to be involved in your personal life. That's just me. Another thing that really bothers me is how down and/or depressed people can become when talking about how others don't respond to their posts at all while viewing them having a great conversation with others. I don't like the emotional up and downs it creates in some people's lives. It makes me feel sad hearing the stories. I heard a preacher recently say - "Would you actually call all 1,000 people that are on your FB list and tell them you had oatmeal for breakfast? But, you will posts several shots of that breakfast on FB." Hilarious! And a great point! :heeheehee |
