Black-Eyed Peas and Greens Anyone?

In the South it is tradition to cook black-eyed peas and some sort of greens (cabbage, collards, turnips) on New Year's Day.

Wondering if any of the AFF folks cooked/ate any?

I did!! :)

Happy New Year!!

Black eyed peas I love. Greens, not so much (although I have been known to eat them).

When I was a kid, I would not touch them!
But, I love them now!! Especially turnip greens! :nod

If they taste like dirt, they weren't cooked right.

lol. yes, depending where your from. I noticed I spelled it wrong, but everyone I know pronounces it as jaw in TN. thought it would be funny to spell it the way most of us say it.
