hey, the religion can go take a leap, imo--same as yours. But what is being overlooked here i think is that there are almost 2 billion peaceful Muslims--the actual people--who will not fit into your programming of "all Muslims are radical" or whatever, and in the process you reveal your heart.

Mr Eastman, i have granted that you are surely a loving person to your family and friends; but i cannot respect scoffing and disrespect presented as Christian values, that's all. We are called to see what Fox News and the rest of the establishment does not, and it becomes plain to see that they desire to keep us divided and seeing each other as enemies, somewhere in that process.

I have no doubt that our media spin has an agenda. However... if you look at any news media anywhere in the world, they are following the agenda of whatever ruling political party is in that country, wouldn't you agree? I mean... unless you are there to see and view it for yourself, there is probably no way to ever know the real story - unless you are God himself.

oh, definitely; it is still just news, meaning prolly 'bad' news, and of limited value, but at least it is news that is being withheld from the mainstream media, or presented from a differing pov from theirs, when they have shown an unChristian agenda. So, they might get you closer to a truth, especially on matters where they have less partiality; and might best be disregarded in some other areas. Surely best to disregard it all and go climb a tree, lol, but as humans we have a weakness for outside news, so i try to consume it consciously rather than having it spoon-fed to me by those so obviously in bed with the ptb.

Think about this - three people witness an event. They are each interviewed. When the evidence comes out, all three stories of their witnessed account are different. Who do you believe?

well, i would say 'none of them,' or 'all of them, in context,' meaning their motivations must be taken into account, and their answers to pointed questions as to the differences in their stories weighed--which is about where their prejudices become revealed. But, carrying your analogy further, when one source downplays or completely omits information deemed newsworthy by others, it is to those others that you must at least reflect for information.

Really, i think it best to just mostly disregard any news, as it all seeks to form your opinion of events that usually have very little to do with how your domain gets nourished that day, imo, if you are truly not in the world. Any but local news strikes me as 'peering in,' to be honest, except maybe for the human interest pieces. I'm quick to ignore or change news that can only generate fear, especially 'from afar.' So i guess it depends upon what one seeks in 'news.' I look for breakthrough stories of others solving problems now.

also, if you are attracted to fearful news, you should take a look at that. Killer bees are admittedly fascinating, at first hearing, and seem like cogent news; until it keeps us up at night, and has supplanted the truth that it is God who decides our fates. We are advised in Scripture to pay no mind to most of these, i think.

Lol the media fakes half of the stuff they show anyway. Like CNN with Jaco, Rochelle, and them in front of a green screen pretending they were in Saudi Arabia, which they admitted to being in a recording studio outside atlanta. You only know what your shown and you can't believe any of it. What better way to control a people than to control their information. Making them feel comfortable while stripping them of everything. Or Anderson Coopers nose dissappearing when he was in front of a green screen during the supposed funeral of a sandy hook victim... which they used the same pictures from hook victims as they did boston bombings and so on and so forth. Its all orchestrated to complete an agenda to strip rights and move things into place for a one world order true to prophecy like the bible says.

Best way to lie is offer 6 different lies and allowing the person to choose which one they want to believe more.

That being said I work around multiple muslims and we get along great, beliefs and all.... but that may be my beard... I dunno lol.

To say the radicals are some kind of anomaly is simply diluting the reality. Where do you find in large numbers radical Christian groups seeking to wipe out all of those who do not believe in Jesus? The number is minuscule. There are millions, at least and maybe more, of Muslims who either physically support jihad, financially support jihad, or theoretically and philosophically support jihad. How many Muslim countries were present at the rally in Paris? I don't know. I'd be surprised if there were any significant representation. I'm not making fun of Islam. I'm laughing at the foolish attempts to be politically correct and tip toe around the issue.

Islam has a serious problem of violence, murder, and death following in it's wake. If you dispute that you definitely have your head in the sand.

What "sect" of Christianity is violent to the degree of Islamic jihadism? Where are the Quakers, or Methodists, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Church of Christ, Baptists, Pentecostals, etc that have many millions who subscribe to a theology of extreme hatred and violence toward "unbelievers"?

There is no parallel in any other religion to jihadism in Islam.

There's a problem with Islam. Long before FOXNews Mohammed and his followers were massacring people and they've been doing it for thousands of years. It is encouraged and celebrated by the Koran. But go ahead blame it on the evil right wing. You know the right wing that's going into school and shooting hundreds of children. The right-wing that is flying planes into buildings. The right-wing that's blowing up city buses and public transportation. Yes it's talk radio and the Republican Party that are shooting people for making fun of Christianity and Jesus Christ.
