A question for TN or KY folks
 
Does anyone know of a church between Knoxville TN and Bowling Green KY close to truck parking?
I drive truck on a dedicated route. I'm home every weekend for church with my family but my schedule will allow me to pick up a Wednesday service in route to Bowling Green KY. Preferably a small church for the simple reason visitors are usually an encouragement to smaller congregations. Thanks!

Here is a link to a church in Maryville, TN. I think it is about 15 minutes off of IH40 out of Knoxville.

(Actually I don't know if it is close to truck parking but it is a pretty big church I think in a pretty small town so it might be worth checking out)

Well, I don't normally touch Nashville but I could. I travel 40 to exit 232 and take 109 up to 31W and then hit 65 N. I can jiggle that around though as needed.

If I remember correctly Steve Epley used to be in Nashville, he would probably know a church in that area. You could always go to CC1's church.

It's still a question of truck parking though. This is probably going to be a fairly long term situation.

I remember Christian Evangelism Center in Morristown had a big parking lot.

Nope, I'm an honest to goodness truck driver. I have a sleeper in my truck and shower at the truck stops. I had to mention the shower part or no one would ever invite me to their church! :nah

God Bless you Bro! It is not an easy job being a trucker! I know that parking for big rigs is a big issue, especially if you want to go to church while you're out on the road. I wish you all the best!

I really appreciate that. I still haven't found a church for midweek services yet. I found a church in Franklin Ky that I need to get a hold of. It's close to a Pilot truck stop but I'm just not sure how close.

There is a UPC church in Lebanon, TN that I know. As far as could tell they are wonderful group of people. I have preached for them before. There pastor is prayer coordinator for the state of TN and he is stickler on spiritual warfare. Not sure about the parking, but may be worth looking into.

I saw the sign for this church once years ago and think I drove to look at it. I don't think they have parking for a semi but I could be wrong. According to my wife I am wrong a lot.

On 231 south in between Lebanon and Murfreesboro there is an Apostolic church I believe their lot would be large enough. Elder Johnson is pastor.
