Re: Fox News Voted America's Most Trusted News!!!

71% of those polled believe Fox News is less trustworthy than other news sources.

Sounds about right but 29% doesnt even approach the radar screen of "mandate".

can you name the others, one must wonder; nevermind the obvious question here...lol, sob.

Between the political commentary and Fox Extras there isn't much actual news on Fox.

Re: Fox News Voted America's Most Trusted News!!!

ya...the 18% figure is not just some propaganda put out by an enemy or anything, either--our news is--of course--no longer obligated to tell the truth, as established in court, and this figure was compiled by a reputable news watchdog.

i am struck by Max Keiser here--he is based in London, and libel laws are much different there; yet he continually invites a lawsuit nearly every show, calling bankers "banksters," and "zombies." Obviously with the backing of the Russian government; who would not be interested in 'settling.' :lol

Re: Fox News Voted America's Most Trusted News!!!

While I don't watch Fox News (in fact, I haven't had TV in over 8 years now), I find that 18% figure highly dubious. NBC, CBS and ABC distort the facts constantly, so what are they? 10%? 5%? I question the method used to come to that number.

well, it has been subject to much discussion, but little debate...

Here's your rebuttal, straight from the search link you provided.

Quote:

The summaries come with a note of caution from PunditFact, in that the outlet uses its “news judgment to pick the facts we’re going to check, so we certainly don’t fact-check everything.”
Quote:

Also, Fox News and MSNBC do a great deal of roundtable/political discussion segments, which tend to yield dumb and sometimes un-factual comments by pundits.

This is genius. So let's ignore the fact that they were rated the HIGHEST among all others.

According to your weird logic, 78% polled believe CNN is less trustworthy than other news sources, 90% find CBS News and NBC News less trustworthy, 92% find ABC News less trustworthy, and 93% find MSNBC less trustworthy.

Either way Fox News is trusted more than any one source of news.

It's really not weird logic, it's willful self delusion.

when the highest rated US news is also openly credited with telling the truth only 18% of the time, i am forced to agree :lol
one can only hope that you keep posting, that God's will be further revealed :rofl

Obama lied about Obamacare at least 20 times on record, more than 20 times stated he could not grant amnesty but he did. Holder lied to Congress about Fast and Furious. Obama and Rice lied repeatedly about Benghazi and the video. The MISINFORMATION SCREAMING MEDIA covered up or did not report at all. Fox is the only one who reports Obama's lies and progressives and liberals hate them for exposing how corrupt the entire administration is.

As far as the 18% statistic, that information comes from PolitiFact. Journalists tend to lean ideologically left. The St. Petersburg Tampa Bay Times, which started PolitiFact in conjunction with the Congressional Quarterly, is a traditionally liberal paper. PolitiFact's stories appear to damage Republicans far more often than Democrats despite the fact that PF tends to choose about as many stories dealing with Republicans as for Democrats. If the selection process was blind then either proportions should be approximately even or else the party with worse ratings should receive more ratings overall according to what PolitiFact lists as its selection criteria.

Re: Fox News Voted America's Most Trusted News!!!

well, i can't argue any of that, might all be fact. A big point for me is that they are allowed to lie, by law, and have been to court to establish the fact. It is legal for our major sources of information about the world to lie, and our few major sources seem to be in cabal.

Keep it up general. I get Fox here. Along with nearly every news agency on the planet.

US news is skewed across the board. It was funny when France 24 was reporting that the city of Paris was suing Fox for their false reporting on the terrorist incident. Did you manage to catch their retraction? Fox is so bad and so skewed that a city that is a victim wanted to sue them for their nonsense. Your devotion to them is about as touching as Stoneking's disciples and is rooted in nothing but that your mind is being fed what it wants to hear. Makes you the delusional one general. You come up with an answer on that Iran thing yet?

Who cares about Obama or Holder? Fox was getting sued by a whole city over their false reporting. So yes you did put Fox in the right company.

Fox proudly reported all of those justifications for the Iraq war too. Reported as gospel. They searched Hussein's body cavities and never found those "weapons of mass destruction". Where's your outrage? Oh yeah. Your outrage is selective and limited to what is politically expedient.

well, my bad here--i forget that you are limiting yourself to the Big Four, i guess. Sadly, most American statements online, i am seeing, are just going to become less and less relevant, until they have all descended into unintended comedy...there are like 100 news outlets that cover the O's drivel, wadr.

I'm reminded of the total blindness of...some network, covering an airline fiasco, like some HK flight that landed in SF, I think? Years ago? The news televised the names of the pilots--who had disappeared, and were being searched for--"Sum Ting Wong, Wi Tu Lo" etc.--with a straight face, completely unaware of the joke...i could prolly find it, it's hilarious...

the scary part, to me, is that you are not alone; your opinions are widely held, even in religious circles, in the US. I give you credit for voicing them, to very little disagreement, apparently. The maw maws in the country are nodding in approval with you.

To be fair, that was only a local affiliate, not the national news agency. Though it was quite humorous. I like one of the comments on the video:

well, it would be diff if it were Podunk, Iowa, circa 1960...but Oakland, c. 2010? really? this had to pass through like ten hands before it got on air--six, at least. Scripture talks about this kind of blindness.

Ohhhh someone SUES therefore it means the lawsuit is legit! Hey everyone PARIS SUED Fox News! Wow! Now that PROVES A LOT! A WHOLE city! Every citizen of Paris went to court to protest! Lol! Hey Junior, go back to the locker room and put your jock strap back on! Haha!!!

As far as the oft repeated WMD crybaby stuff, Fox News only reported what every single intelligence agency from Russia, Germany, UK, France, Israel, USA and others said along with the UN inspectors---Iraq had them. Saddam Hussein is the biggest fool in history bc all he had to do was show how everyone was wrong and avoid invasion. Yet he held to his guns and wouldn't let anyone inspect the places the UN wanted to inspect. It cost him his power, his palaces, his sons, his lavish lifestyle, and ultimately his life. And he did all of that to hide the fact the he DIDNT have WMDs.

The thing is, we know for a fact he had chemical weapons, as he used them to wipe out an entire area full of Kurds (sp?). It wasn't much of a stretch to assume he had more stockpiled.

No general anyone can sue. The open air retraction of their statements is enough proof for me.

It is also enough for you to acknowledge that there were in fact no WMD's in Iraq. The rest of your dribble is irrelevent

Can't you find a wedding to bomb or something? You aren't doing very well in here.

We know it because Dow sold the precursers to them. Dow was able to sell the precursers to them after Rumsfield visited them on behalf of Reagen then Reagan lifted the export bans so that they could quickly and effiiently kill as many Iranians as possible. Now you are here looking dumb and saying that "iran is an agressor" and now you want to "bomb and destabilize" them on top of arranging to shoot and gas them. No. Wrong answer general. Go bomb a wedding party. You are just another terrorist with a different skin color.

I remember when the local FOX News station did that! I still laugh about it, though I probably shouldn't. You're right, it is funny that they actually read these names on live tv. I couldn't believe them at first!:spit
