Now I'm not talking about a tuna melt. I am talking about a regular tuna fish sandwich.

Maccaroni and cheese with tuna is good. My kids like to make it that way.

I've seen tuna helper, like hamburger helper, but would never buy that.

You might not like it as much as you think you would. There is a reason why you never put cheese on your tuna sandwich-- and I'm with you on that.

me neither, but homemade mac and cheese with tuna in it is pretty good, actually. Albacore, of course; not the cat food one.

What you need is diced pickle, diced onion, mayo, salt pepper garlic powder, mixed in with the tuna. MAYBE boiled egg whites sliced and chopped and thrown in the mux IF you're feeling brave. Put it on some TOAST and enjoy, forgetting about any cheese.

Hamburger helper is gross. Buy your own ingredients and make it yourself. Much better that way.

I like to eat a tuna sandwich with yellow banana peppers... but not cheese.

I wouldn't like it on tuna (then again, I don't really like tuna), but I prefer Provolone cheese for my slices. Or just to eat directly, I love Colby/Monterey Jack marbled together.

I loathe tuna.... I would rather have a cheese sandwich than have Tuna in any form...

Although I must admit, I was hoodwinked into eating Tuna Helper once and it was tolerable.... not ideal but tolerable.

Fresh tuna is excellent. My wife had a cousin or something that ran a fishing boat somewhere up around Alaska or somewhere (can't remember) and he would give us fresh tuna. The stuff in a can is to fresh tuna what McRibs are to genuine bbq ribs.

I do actually like the McRibs, but for the most part, the only thing I eat from there is the 'Steak, Egg and Cheese Bagel'; and occasionally their breakfast burritos.

Try tuna mixed with cream cheese and onion powder. goes good with crackers and tabasco sauce.

Years ago I used to make a tuna dip served with crackers, and the bowl was practically licked clean every time I took it to a function. It was so easy, and simple, and people would always ask for the recipe. Your recipe reminded me of it.

1 can tuna, drained
2 packages (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 small onion, diced
Salt, pepper and a dab of hot sauce to taste

Mix all together well, and serve with wheat thin crackers, or crackers/chips of choice.

I haven't made this in so long, that I really do need to make it again. :)
