I was licensed by that organization for a few years back in the late nineteen seventies. There are some good folks in that group. A former pastor, Bro. Joe David Sizemore, was in that organization for several years before his death.

I knew Bishop Joe David. He was one of the best preachers and a great man. My Bishop Billy McCool has been instrumental in leading the ALJC throughout the years. I do not attend Bishop McCool's now I live in AZ now. But that is my home church there in Knoxville, TN. There are no greater people than that McCool family.

My parents are ALJC, I'll be seeing them here in Indy this month.

I think everyone who knew Bro. Joe David Sizemore or who heard him preach have nothing but good things to say about him. He was a good man who sincerely loved the Lord. He had a servant's heart and was not a lord over God's heritage. Some of you may not realize it but there has been a book published which contains some of his sermons. The book is titled Hot Bread and is available at
https://pentecostalbookstore.com/boo...048&ptc=e23920
and also (I think) from the UPC Publishing House. A copy of the book was given to me by his brother (Jack Sizemore) and Jack's wife (Karen) who live on the street behind us. As I read those sermons I could just hear Bro. Sizemore preaching them.

Both Billy and Bobby McCool have been visitors over the years at the church Bro. Sizemore pastored. There is a book about them available from the UPC Publishing house. It is called Double Trouble for the Devil. I would recommend both of those books --the one of Bro. Sizemore's sermons and the one about the (older) McCool twins.

I have read "Double Trouble.." It is a good book though alot of the info is repeated, often. I have heard that the JDS book is good. I am not a book reader really. Altough I have a few books I reco. "Tale of Three Kings" is awesome as well as the new book by Jentezen Franklin "Right Places, Right People and the Right Plan." It is really good.
