What are the depths of your belief in the bible?

Is there really a time and place for everything?

Discuss!

There are seasons to life. Seasons of growth and decline. Times of stability and times of change. This is true of a person, a church or a society.

Good comes forth from evil, and God uses the weak to overcome the strong. Who can fathom this?

Is there a time and place for sin?

Is that taught in the New Testament?

Jesus rescues a woman from stoning and commands her to no longer sin.

Could you produce scripture from the New Testament which teaches that sin can be used as a tool?

hmm, "lesson" might be a better characterization than "tool."

1 corinthians 10- 5But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

6Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. 10Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God... there is a time and season of sin... but Jesus brought forth a better way.

No. I believe not. God can take a sinful situation and work good out of it, but he never wills sin to occur in any form to bring about good. There's a difference. I also reject the idea that God willed Adam to fall to bring about a greater revelation of himself by shoeing grace.

Dualism states evil is necessary in His will. Dualism is error.

Sure. You asked, "Could you produce scripture from the New Testament which teaches that sin can be used as a tool?"

The passage I gave shows how sinful events were recorded in the Old Testament for us to learn from- written for our admonition. In that way the sin of others is used as a tool to help persuade Christians today to not fall into the same sins.
