Urgent request!!
 

W just learned tonight that a man in our church was mugged, had his truck stolen, and was brutally beaten.

The doctors are deciding whether to remove one of his eyes tonight or in the morning.

Please pray for healing...both in body and spirit, as well as for his family.

Oh dear me, that is terrible!

It is, Renda...when my pastor told the church tonight, I just broke down and sobbed.

He and I are not what you would call close, but I've known him since he was a pup...and there have been some spiritual problems of late.

It just struck us all kinda hard...can't begin to imagine what his family is going through in this hour.

They took him this evening, I imagine airlifted, to Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak for surgery.

Barb, I just prayed. Maybe you could share with this gentleman that there are folks here who have loved him without even knowing him - we're loving him on behalf of the Lord. Maybe that will encourage him in the days ahead. I pray so.

Lord God, we come to You tonight on behalf of this dear man who was

mugged, his truck stolen and who was brutally beaten. We humbly ask

that if You would see fit, let the physicians be able to save this man's

eye. Lord God, touch and heal and let this man see Your goodness, Your

mercy, love and compassion. You are a loving, merciful and compassinate

God, and You can do anything but fail and lie. We thank You for what You

will see fit to do for this dear man, in JESUS NAME.

I have just prayed ,I'm sorry to hear this.

This is terrible and oh so sad.
Praying for a restoration of body, soul, and spirit.

This is what I know at this juncture...

The eye has still not been removed, but not because it isn't necessary to do so. The doctors have called in a specialists in eye surgery...every bone behind the eye was broken.

He is in tremendous pain, however, none of his ribs were broken.

Thank you all for your PMs and continued prayers for this man and his family...

Barb, I am praying. I cannot imagine the horror that he and his family are going through. Please continue to update us.

Was so in hopes his eye could be saved! Sometimes we do not see

the whole picture, but our great God does! May HIS WILL be done, in

Jesus Name!!

Lord Jesus,

I KNOW YOU can spare this man's eye. Regardless of what man may

say, if You would see fit, Lord God, to spare this man's eye, I know it

would be greatly appreciated. In JESUS NAME!!! Regardless, thank YOU,

dear God, for sparing his life!
