It's Captain D's Thursday...

Thursday is Kids Day at Captain D's and we try not to miss it.

You can get (2) free kids meals (dine in only) for each regular meal you purchase. They charge $0.99 at the window.

Now the website says something different.

Quote:

Thursday is Kid’s Day at most Captain D’s restaurants. Kid’s meals are just $.99 with an adult meal purchase. Dine-in only. Check with your local restaurant for details.
At several around here it is free inside and $0.99 at the window.

Anway... don't miss Captain D's Kids Day if you have kids.

We can feed our family of 5 for less than $15.00

Captain D's is pretty nasty tasting, in my opinion. So is Long John Silver's. YUCK!

Oh man... LJS rocks.

Digging4Truth 06-14-2007 11:23 AM

Mmmmmmmmmm Mmmmmmmmm Good... Love it.

I just don't care for the stuffed crab. I give that to my wife. She likes it.

How to see if there is one near you.

Closest one is in Ft Hood... an hour away.

Might have to take a trip.

I guess if you like imported seafood and stuff that is suppose to look like seafood flips your boat, then enjoy it with all the passion that you can.

Ronzo 06-14-2007 11:57 AM

I'm not a fan of the fries at LJS... they're never crispy and always soggy and tasteless.

I love everything else though. :)

Have at it, Bro. I can't eat LJS anymore. It does unspeakable things to my insides which are later reflected on the outside! :D

It's been so long since I ate there... and I've changed my eating habits quite a bit that it'd probably do the same to me now...

If they came out with a filet that wasn't deep fried, with all that breading, maybe something like a grilled seasoned filet I might could go for it.

What?

Fish not deep fried?

That is an abomination here in the south. :)

I've used the vinegar on those soggy fries, LOTS of times, believe me (it's malt vinegar)
