Sorry folks, I have no tolerance for this stuff.

I try to give the benefit of the doubt on these situations but 7 counts? By a grand jury?

And......

They have to spread it that he is a pastor!!!!

Nothing like giving the adversary something to work with!

If it is true then he needs to pay the penalty.

This is going to be spread from the proverbial Dan to Bersheeba.

True. Several groups use the term. By Apostolic I'm referring to Oneness Pentecostal. I know him personally and I've preached in his Church many times.

Evidently he wasn't. conservative should be an attribute and not a label. This is a shameful story and my prayers to the victims and their families. It would be a hard thing to recover. The church should be a safe place. These things forever leave scars and nothing short of a miracle is able to heal them. Forgiveness is essential to salvation, and some things will be hard for the families to forgive.

He was very conservative. They're not releasing the evidence at this time, so I'm not sure what it is.

Very true! His ministry is ruined and no one will even visit their Church now even though he stepped down isn't in ministry anymore.

Well if you are a PASTOR that is YOUR JOB TITLE. You are a PASTOR 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days a YEAR. They take on that roll when they sign up to watch over the CHURCH. Therefore why would they NOT say he is a PASTOR??????? ABUSE OF POWER.

There is GOOD & BAD in every Church. Whats the point of comparing this situation to the Catholic Church? The Apostolic Pentecostal Movement has many many many stories just like this one , yet you don't hear them because they try very hard to shove these types of situations under the rugs. Children almost never recover from child abuse especially sexual child abuse. A lot of human beings don't grasp the seriousness of this offense. And they often don't really care until it hits their home. This is not just a PREIST or CATHOLIC PROBLEM this is an ABUSE OF POWER PROBLEM PERIOD.........no one can ever know how this offense can torture your mind and heart until it happens to you. The parents of an abused child don't often get it either. Sexual Abuse DESTROYS a persons mind more than just physical abuse. IT goes so much deeper and often it will carry over into your life as a person grows up. if this story turns out to be true, you can bet that he has a history of Abusing his Power.

I know this guy personally. Unfortunately it did turn out to be true. He does not have a history of abusing his power. He was actually accused by several people of being too passive and weak in leadership (and I know this is the case).

I would have to see evidence of this. Personally I think there are too many independent groups (like my Church) for this to even be possible. No one can sweep it under the rug if there isn't a governing body to do the sweeping.

I don't like it when I see this stuff happening in the ministry and take a strong stand against it.

I know that if he skips out on his court date that there is a house attached to the bail money that someone else will lose......

This is going to go hard for him no matter what. It is going to go hard for what is left of the assembly. Where will they go?

The best thing that they could do would be to dissolve the corp., form a new corp, move across town and start over.

This isn't the sort of court case one can just walk away from and hideout from the law. Usually individuals who have held certain positions and who have ran off, are found with a suicide note pinned to their jacket.

Nothing good about this, but what goes through a preacher's mind when he behaves in such a way is beyond demonic. When the Apostolic church goes away from her spiritual roots and drowns herself in the academic, she becomes not only fruitless, but spiritually psychotic.

It is like a virus, which incubates within its host victim. The preacher (or saint) stops praying, stops true worship, and ends up no longer believing in demons, angels, anything spiritual. They end up worse than they were when they first found God. It doesn't happen overnight, it takes time, because their situation is putting down deep roots. These roots are not only hard to remove, but so deep within the soul that the individual couldn't escape even if he wanted.

It can't end well.

It is so messed up on so many levels.

Discernment isn't suspicion. Discernment is being able to actually see what is going on spiritually in a congregation. This is usually mocked, and ridiculed by the the crowd who no longer believe God will show you anything. That means shows you what is happening with other people. Why? Because a lot of individuals have mimicked spiritual discernment, with cold reading, warm reading, and hot reading. Tools used by charlatans. So, just because you have some hoaxers, people tend to throw the baby out with the bath water.

As time goes by and Pentecost becomes less and less spiritual, and more and more liturgical. You will hear more horror stories.
