Jan Crouch Stroke
Is there anyone here that has connections to her or to her family?
Is her health holding up? I thought she had some sort of connection, possibly through extended family members, to Oneness Pentecostals. |
Re: Jan Crouch Stroke
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who ate in any trouble, with the comfort with we ourselves are comforted by God."
II Corinthians 1:3-4 |

God in his infinite mercy might be giving her a time to get herself right.
Some people do not get a warning or last chance. |

Just leave her where she is...In the hands of a just God....Nothing we say or do will change anything about the way God feels about her.
And no...I never saw her program or whatever....just saw clips a few times...on youtube...however I sure am glad I do not have to judge the world....that is a job for God... She is gone....so leave her alone....Well, that is my opinion...I personally have no idea what she believed....never heard her....never read a book if she wrote any by her... However I cannot waste my time judging.... |

Re: Jan Crouch Stroke
When you honestly think about it, the work they did, what she and her husband were able to accomplish with their lives for the Glory of God and the Gospel of Christ, all that can be said is WOW!
I mean, the two of them are the living examples of the scripture, "greater things you will do..." They were more influential in spreading the Gospel of Christ than Saint Paul! Just a married couple that had a vision for spreading the Gospel... Modern day heroes of the faith! |
Re: Jan Crouch Stroke
Yep. That prosperity gospel. A mansion for Jan. A mansion for Paul. An RV for the dogs.
|
Re: Jan Crouch Stroke
Just think about ALL that the Lord has enabled, even ANOINTED this one couple to do!
Their works will truly live on. |
Re: Jan Crouch Stroke
Anointed is a misused word. Paul had homosexual affairs, Paul and Jan lived in separate mansions. They spread the prosperity gospel all over the world. It has taken root in places like Central and South America.
I have a coworker that is from Kenya. He is Pentecostal. He attends a church that is a denomination from Africa. The prosperity gospel is now being exported from third world countries. |

What is the proof of the multiplied homosexuality affairs of Paul Crouch? Even if your accusations are true, the strength of God in Paul and Jan's lives was made perfect in their weaknesses. I don't think they started out with the intent to spread a false gospel. They didn't coin the term, "Prosperity Gospel", their critics coined that term and RIGHTFULLY SO. Still, to dismiss their mission and work because of prosperity gospel adherents would be to dismiss Saint Paul's work because of the false gospels that emerged in the same areas he evangelized. |

Not dismissing them because of adherents. Paul and Jan BELIEVED the prosperity gospel. Many (dare I say most) of those that broadcast on TBN endorsed heresy and false doctrine in some form. |

Re: Jan Crouch Stroke
.
It's almost too hard to believe. Most folks who call themselves "Christians" don't know what is the "Gospel" . . . or what is "Pentecost"! But it shouldn't be surprising: since they also don't seem to know what is a Christian. |

Most of them? I am not sure this true. Is there anything good you can say about what they accomplished? |
Re: Jan Crouch Stroke
Seriously folks.
Is there anything God-ordained about Paul and Jan Crouch-- their mission, their accomplishments, the spread of the Gospel to nations far out nations? |
Re: Jan Crouch Stroke
The gospel has reached many many people because of their dedication to spread the gospel. That is more than all of us on here put together. Jesus can come back sooner because they chose to spread the gospel instead of arguing and debating scripture. I don't agree with EVERYTHING that I have seen on TBN but then I am sure we wouldn't agree with everything that goes on in our churches either. Just my opinion.

It certainly was not the Gospel that Peter and Paul preached: and it certainly was NOT the Gospel that the Lord Jesus taught the apostles! The Crouch's taught Catholic salvation . . . that a person must believe in God: as opposed to BELIEVING GOD! Yes, I know. Some Pentecostals are that way. |
