He makes an excellent point. If they want to kill Americans so badly who are stationed in their country, what will they do when they can come freely to our country and do here as they please?

Is it any old American they'd like to slay, or US Marines only?

Maybe the Corps have an unsavory reputation in the area we don't know about?

He is an ex-Marine working as a subcontractor. So, he is a civilian.

But what is he subcontracting to build?

As I watched the video, all I kept thinking was, I wish I could hear the other side of the story. We don't know for sure if he is accurately representing the things he claims people have said to him. He could be making things up, or embellishing them, or misunderstood them due to a language barrier.

This doesn't affect the rightness or wrongness of a 90 day travel ban, however. It is within the Constitutional Rights of the President of the United States to create such a ban, and to say otherwise, is treasonous to the U.S. Constitution and order of law as established by the Founding Fathers.

My only remedy to clear any doubt (which you may not be able to do) is take a trip their and walk around. I tend to consider strongly the individual's words concerning the attitude of Iraqis towards Americans. My reason is that the United States is viewed as Rome was in the first century. She is the conqueror, and the occupying force. One day everything was culturally normal, and after the invasion everything is turned upside down. Same with our own history. Northerners were viewed in a less than favorable light by the Antebellum South. As military this individual understands the reason for any type of ban against a people coming from a country or countries which his government has decided to halt movement. Throughout history governments had to stop immigration from other countries.

Like I posted above, many governments throughout history have had to stop immigration from other countries. Also halting refugees. People don't have a right to immigrate to this country from another country. Meaning they can't demand entry to the United States.
