How do I move a thread from the deep waters into the fellowship hall?

Only Admin can move threads.

Why was the thread are all Trinitarians Lost put into deep waters???? It was posted on here and was a thread with huge response????

If it's not been responded to for a while, it can be moved to other areas instead of being on page 26 of the Fellowship Hall.

Can we have another try??????????????????????? Please???:sly

I think it should stay in deep waters... that way everyone knows how to access it and it is readily available and all...

I went to page 70 and did not find it however there is a page 70 which is 44 pages beyond 26 and they have NOT been moved to deep waters. I wonder how many veiwers deep waters get?

The thread had 1289 replies and over 10,000 views one of the largest I assume? I also noticed I was the ONLY veiwer there. On the first two pages the rest had less than a 100 replies. Does make you wonder.

I do not have a problem moving it back here. We are creatures of habit and coming to FH to find things is what most do.

There has been some effort to try to get traffic in other areas of the forum. It seems it just doesn't work.

I will bring it over for you and take my lashings in the admin area.

If folks would click on "new posts" in the green bar at the top, they would get an array of all the forums. It's very easy.

Why would you get lashings for reposting though a controversal but a heavily read and replied thread? If folks don't post on the thread it will die on it's own. I had never been to the deep waters section before like most I just look here. If it was a viewed section I would have no problem. I remember on FCF I used to go to the prophecy section and read Elder Blume-Chalfant-Parson's debates they were great. I never posted much but read a quite a bit. But it was a visited section.

If there was a way to create interest in other sections I would be all for it I think it would be good. Maybe a prophecy section if someone knowlegable like Parsons or Elder Chalfant would discuss with Elder Blume??? I do not know how to involve them it was very interesting.

H2H is one who hit the nail. Sorting through 70 pages to find a thread can be maddening. We as Admin are reviewing this, and I trust Bro Epley had some movement on his thread.

Add some to your Trinitarian thread and if You Insist- any of us will move it for you. Having a thread in the FH does not guarantee movement. Many hit the "New Threads Button"" in the Navigation Bar anyway...

Well it doesn't make a big difference to me where the "Are All Trinitarians Lost" thread is put. LOL!
The fact is all trinitarians are not lost. :thumbsup

But........the other fact is (and history will bear this out) that most people like the General Discussion or in AFF's case Fellowship Hall part of the board. They just don't go to the other forums. I've heard many posters make this point numerous times.

They'd rather wade through 10 or 15 pages of posts or do a search for a thread they're wanting in General Discussion rather than go to a thread just a couple clicks away because it feels like it's on the back end of the forum or the other side of nowhere.

Strange perhaps, silly perhaps, shouldn't be a big deal perhaps ...... but there it is anyhow ..... it's true. Human nature is what it is.

The thought we are shutting the door on a certain mindset is not true.

If you don't have a thread in FH that gives the cons a place to constantly lash out at the trinitarians, they will be very upset and frustrated. It's very therapeutic for them to vent against the "three gods" folk who, to the delight of the cons, are headed straight for hell. :)
