How About some "new to me" God Head talk.

What do ya'll think we will see when we get to Heaven? Will it be God? Will it be Jesus. Will it be the Holy Ghost? Will it be any combination of the three? I think we will see Jesus. I believe God is "too big " to see, remember God hiding Moses in a cliff as he passed by? I consider myself oneness but, believe that God is actually the Father of Jesus. I believe Jesus was all God but not all of God. So in a nutshell I believe we will see Jesus. I believe God is still to much for is to comprehend ,even in our new bodies and minds we will have. This may not make any sense at all, I don't know. But I do not believe anyone will be lost for disagreements on the God Head.

God is a Spirit.
God is everywhere.
God is invisible, otherwise He would be blocking your view.
Jesus is the image of the invisible God.

I agree, in your opinion will we be able to see God when we get to Heaven?

Re: How About some "new to me" God Head talk.

The disciples saw Jesus leave, and He said he would come back in the same manner, so it seems we would see him when we get to heaven.

I don't think you can get a good picture of God from the book of Revelation because of the symbolic imagery.

So, I think its just best to think of seeing Jesus.

God is everywhere, but the fullness of the Godhead, all the qualities and attributes of Diety dwell in Jesus.

And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Bro. Joe Bandy, this topic will make THOUSANDS of views and a lot of responses. Be prepared to spend time reading. Standards especially dress and Godhead and baptisms will set peoples' fingers to typing like crazy.

Why do people make things so complicated. As a trinitarian, I believe that I am going to see Jesus. Why? Because Jesus is the image of the invisible God.

Lets read Acts 7:55-56, Hebrews 8:1, 10:12, Romans 8:44. Col. 3:1. Now, how can one be condemned to hell for not being sure what you will see when you get to Heaven? Having this question in ones mind is no more a sin that questioning the lack of healing.

It should come as no surprise that Oneness preachers on a *Oneness* forum might think Trinitarians are lost, based on Trinitarianism being derived from pagan roots.

People are here to express their viewpoint, and viewpoints may differ.

THE THREE MAIN GODS

First Person Second Person Third Person
Father, King Son, Prince Queen, Mother

Triad of Babylon
Nimrod Tammuz Simerimas
Shamash Sin Ishtar

Triad of Backsliden Israel
Baal Tammuz Ashoreth

Triad of Egypt
Osiris Horus Isis

Triad of Greece
Zeus Apollo Athena

Triad of India
Brahama Vishnu Shiva

Triad of Rome
Jupiter Mars Venus

Triad of Catholicism
Father Son Holy Spirit
Jehovah Jesus Dove

Note: The Dove has always been the Catholic root Goddess
symbol. Mary has been elevated to Co-Saviour with Christ.

Rev:17:3-5: So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

The Biblical Bride or Church of God believes in only "ONE GOD" and that his name is only one. Jesus is the one God in flesh and Jesus is the only "Name of God". Salvation is only found in the Name of JESUS.

Acts 4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts 2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Zec:14:9: 9: And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Right. It's one thing to express an opinion. It's another thing to condemn someone to hell.

Let me use an analogy... If you were to take a 5 gallon bucket and dip out 5 gallons out of the ocean you would have 100% ocean water, but you would not have 100% of the ocean water. Same qualities etc etc just not ALL of it.

You can't quantify the "volume" of God.

You can't measure Him. He is immeasurable.

Jesus isn't a bucket, and God certainly isn't an ocean.

Great is the mystery of godliness.... When we try to apply our flawed logic and finite understanding to the mystery of how God robed Himself in flesh, is when we start popping out little gods all over the place.

Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is ONE.

Your first sentence proves the point I am trying to make. Most people I know believe there is ONE God. You can not fit something immeasurable into a human body (Jesus). So.. as Jesus walked the earth was there was still an immeasurable God ??

I like to try to use the attached chart with the following texts to describe what I believe about Oneness.
John 10:30
30 I and my Father are one. (KJV)

John 10:38
38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. (KJV)

John 12:45
45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. (KJV)

John 14:7-10
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. (KJV)
