Flywheel

Have any of you watched the movie "Flywheel"?

This is actually an older project back from 2003 from Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, GA that last year produced the film "Facing The Giants".

I just had some UPC relatives visit who brought the DVD of Flywheel. Although it was an extremely low budget film the script is very well written and most of the film well acted.

I thought it is a great tool to indirectly witness to someone who might not otherwise listen.

I haven't seen it but I heard about it after I saw "Facing the Giants". Was it as good as that one?

I liked "FlyWheel" okay. It was Sherwood's first film, so the quality wasn't as good as "Facing the Giants." All the actors are people that attend the church. They are in the process of making another film.

Someone told me that they thought "FlyWheel" was better.

It wasn't Hollywood. It was a church that produced it. The church is trying to produce some decent movies instead of all the Hollywood garbage.

BORED,

You might "go Hollywood" if you saw this one. It is a great story about God transforming someones life.

It is also a great story about applying in a practical way one's Christianity in their everyday life.

I have not seen "Facing The Giants" although I had heard about it. Now that I have seen Flywheel I intend on seeing FTG.

Facing the Giants is an awesome story. I cry every time I see it.
Very inspiring.

As a matter of fact we do. Flywheel refers to the need for a new flywheel in a 1953 Triumph TR3 the main character in the story buys.

The car looks great but will not run. The mechanic explains to the man how without a good flywheel the engine will not run, etc.

The allegory was to one having Christ in your life to make things run right.
