Big Fight!

Mayweather or Mcgregor?

Re: Big Fight!

While my Scottish heart seriously wants to support McGregor, I think Mayweather will take it.

Re: Big Fight!

Mayweather only because he doesn't fight, he dances. He'll win by decision.

Re: Big Fight!

McGregor is too cocky. I wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather puts him on the mat in the first minute. But, Mayweather is also older and if McGregor copies what most boxers do (dance around) he could last into the late rounds and maybe keep it to a decision.

Re: Big Fight!

Mayweather doesn't knock out people anymore. If McGregor can connect, he'll win by KO. I look for Money to dance and stay away from a real fight.

No, it's a 19 hole match on the golf course.

It is a publicity stunt to make money for promoters, and fighters.

Muhammad Ali vs. Antonio Inoki, same amount of hype and stupidity, Yet, you guys aren't old enough to remember.

I don't care for such dramatically theatrical hyped things.

Mr Money will make about 100 million on this, Irish will make about 75 million.

Regardless how it turns out. Plus, did I mention it's about as honest a fight as WWE?

I am boxing.

Why would I want to watch a circus.

Although I have been out of the gymn for most of the year, I do box. I guess I'm what you call a gymn rat - too old for amateur boxing competition, but I like to spar with the amateurs at the gymn.

I still practice though. I'll be going back to gymn later this year (Lord willing) I just have other work to do at present.

I don't keep up with professional sports, although I hear stuff through the grapevine.

I have watched prior fights on YouTube, though, especially Olympic trials and amateur matches.

Dempsey was my favorite, Qawi, Liston, Ali, Marciano, Sugar Ray Robinson, Gennady Golovkin, and Pacquiao are some other good boxers I like. Joe Frazier and Dempsey are my top two favorite boxers, I learned a lot from watching them. Tyson COULD have been the greatest, but he flamed out. Shame, really.

But my interest in boxing has more to do with exercise and skill development than "sports". I could care less about a mafia dominated money racket.

Your just against him cause he's white. Tell the truth. Did you know he's related to Trump?

Re: Big Fight!

Just watched the highlights. Looked like an exhibition fight to be honest.

Floyd doing the stand-up game in the beginning, taking lots of hits, then switching to a pressure -fighting style later on. Totally un-Floyd. lol

Conor gassing in round 9, then definitely gassed in the 10th.

So many fouls and disquals, Conor throwing rabbit punches and hammerfists, using grappling tie-ups, holding while punching, rear body holds, etc. Floyd turning his back and ducking at least twice, elbow and forearm hits, etc. ROFL

Good show for the crowds. Totally fixed. imo
