Government sponsored segregation
link
https://www.thecollegefix.com/post/36867/ snippets To promote “racial reconciliation” after the deadly clashes between white nationalists and counterprotesters in Charlottesville last month, Brown University plans to offer segregated events to its black students and female Muslim students. |
Re: Government sponsored segregation
I suppose the hated "whites" will have to take our education dollars and spend them elsewhere. Let them wall themselves off, they are going to end up lonely.

Scott Walker has nothing to do with Blacks and Indians. So, government sponsored segregation perfectly describes the GOP world as embraced by the governor of Wisconsin.

SP - took me about two seconds to find something that seems to prove you wrong.
link https://walker.wi.gov/cabinet Seems like I see some blacks and and hispanic, as well. I know you hate Walker because of his union-busting activities, if I am recalling correctly. |
Re: Government sponsored segregation
I do not need the internet to see firsthand the effects of the Walker administration on minority groups in the Badger state.
Walker is a very bad apple. If you are black, your life will be better if you do not live in Wisconsin. |

Re: Government sponsored segregation
Nearly everyone in our county is white.
The high school graduation rate for blacks is far lower than for whites. In Madison, it is a steady 50%. Milwaukee Public Schools has not seen 50% for years. Walker refuses to meet with the tribes, even when they come to Madison. Expect to see racial tensions escalate when Enbridge pipelines tries to expand through our state. There is actually a bill circulating right now to limit freedom of assembly to aid in arresting protestors. Racial tension in our society is not new. Refusing to lift a finger to heal this social scar is typical of ignorant, arrogant fools like Scott Walker. |

Do you believe "the tribes" hold the same "anti-racist" views you do? Why are they even organized as tribes? Isn't that racist? They prefer to associate with their own kind? They even have their own local governments based on race? But Walker is the evil racist? Too much cheese up in Wisconsin? |

I could be wrong, but it's pretty standard across the board in my experience. |
Re: Government sponsored segregation
We live where God called us to live, as I expect you also do.
Those who we love in our lives are best described as multicultural. Our small town has a fair share of Ho Chunk members and we celebrate life together. I also have friends from other tribes from other parts of the state. No, I do not explain everything in my life. Scott Walker has not lifted a finger to improve the life of any minority in Wisconsin. The racial disparity, as I believe it is called, has gotten worse since Walker took office. Leaky pipelines across reservation land is very much a tribal issue. The risks and leaks of the pipelines cross ethnic boundaries. They are extremely unpopular in the Badger state. It is not exclusively extremist in opposition, it is across the board. |
Re: Government sponsored segregation
SP - just to be clear, I have great respect for you and really enjoy your posts on your research, so please do not take my questions personally.
I do wonder what began your "hatred" for Walker. Like I said before, seems that I remember you being upset at his union-busting activities. I would be curious to see how you answer some of the questions posed, on this thread. |

Not the reality. BHO set this country against each other in every way that it could be. Black vs White, rich vs poor, honest vs dishonest, illegals vs anyone calling them illegal. I am not sure if it was deliberate, but I do not know how he could not see what he was doing. And this was the reason Trump was elected, in my opinion. As someone who has daily contact with minority communities, I can assure you that they are going about with their daily lives. However, the agitators are continuing to stir up discord and strife wherever they can. |

When this started spilling over to other segments of society, it led to reform efforts under Bill and Newt. In 1964 the rate was 8% for the US, now it is 40%. The rate for black births was 25%, now it is over 70%. All of us together cannot survive this. |
