Post tribbers are teaching that the Church MUST go through the Great Tribulation.

This time of trouble is told to us as.....


For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.




Even more devastating the the flood of Noah(loss of life and human suffering).

The post tribber has presented us with a kind of a Rambo mentality, that only the mentally strong need to "tough it out", when they themselves will go limp as wet noodles when this occurs...



15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?



Somehow, they think the church will be living under little individual force fields, supplied by God with food and water, housing etc., while their neighborhoods are leveled by Almighty God and the devastation made by God lasts for years.


This has evolved into a "prepper" mentality, and God will be the leader of the prepper saints.

Fact is, if the church faces the Great Tribulation, they face this...



5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.



This is wholesale slaughter of the saints during the tribulation, which makes Auschwitz or Treblinka seem like a resort.

Another passage for the Rambo-ists that are telling the Spirit filled saints that God will lead them and their families into this devastation...



12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.



Yes, these post trib teachers teach a doctrine of death to the saints, in which antichrist slaughters us.



This doctrine is a doctrine of death and despair for a few die-hard saints to live with, and was told by our savior to pray contrary to these post-tribbers...




Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.



You see, we can actually escape all of these events by praying to be found worthy, which our escape is.....



15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.




The message of comfort to the Spirit filled saints of God is not meeting the antichrist, but meeting our Lord Jesus Christ.:nod

Your statement is correct if the clock is not touched or adjusted, but when one is constantly changing it's positions, it is possible the broke clock is never correct.

God's wrath will fall directly on all of the inhabitants of the earth during the Great Tribulation, beginning at chapter 6.....

Men persecuted, beat and crucified Jesus, not God.

Persecution by men is not the same as the tribulation and wrath of God.

Isaiah 53:10 reads that the LORD (YHVH) bruised the Messiah. Romans 8:32 reads God did not spare His own Son but handed Him over and gave Him up. Acts 2:23 reads God was the One who sent His Son to die by full, premeditated intention.

Sure, men were the agents, but the agency of the act was with God. Even Jesus told Pilate he could do nothing against Him except that it had been given to him by above (John 19:11).

Jesus knew full well that to be obedient to the will of the Father, who He always pleased, He had to be obedient even unto death, the death of the cross (Philippians 2:8).

Jesus was crucified because the Father wanted Him crucified.

I don't. But what I do make a matter of salvation is when one continually lies and misrepresents the beliefs of others, even after many clarifications have been made. It's one thing to disagree with a teaching. It's another thing to invent a straw man version of a teaching and claim you are debating the actual version.

Jesus said the entire bride would be sleeping.

They would not be aware.

This means the 3 angels of Rev. 14 never showed up yet, when the Bridegroom took the sleeping 5.

Yet, sometimes we often assume we have been as clear as possible in explaining a matter, but perhaps we were not. Or, regardless of how clearly we communicated, it can still be misunderstood, and so, unintentionally misrepresented by the one who didn't understand. That happens here and elsewhere a lot, more than we realize, sometimes.

Why shoot a man down and try to get him banned when you can't prove malicious intent? Even someone claiming to understand a point of discussion or doctrine doesn't make it so. It's just a claim, as much as saying someone is intentionally lying and misrepresenting the beliefs of others, regardless of the number of clarifications.

With all due respect, there are too many witnesses against the guilty party for all of them to just be misunderstanding him. One would think that the Administration would, at the very least, would admonish him to cease his spamming style of multiple posts in order to obscure the posts of others. That would be common courtesy and several have pointed this out to him. But hey, if you want one poster to drive a stake through the heart of this forum, then we certainly won't stand in the way. But he will be ignored.

In my own defense.

I dont call my opponents heretics, etc.(I stopped that silliness a time ago)

To me, that is what wrecks a forum, not strong debate.

A good scriptural spat must not get into the gutter, but stay tough and logical, with a little humor to lighten things from time to time.

I would never ask for banning of a contradicting opinion to me, but accept them with open arms into an argument or discussion.

I am seeking vindication of my Bible, not my beliefs.

One person posts multiple posrs, which isn't against any forum rule, as a means to explain his beliefs.

Another poster uses Alinsky tactics, berates, mocks, and name calls anyone who disagrees with his opinion. Also has posted the same posts over and over again, literally spamming the thread.

So why focus on just the one? :hmmm

The following from Matt 24 doesn't sound too pleasant:

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

How were the Israelites protected in Egypt when that country was destroyed by the judgment of God?

The Jews lived in a "safe zone"....


22 And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth.

23 And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.




There is no "safe zone" depicted for the saints during the Great Tribulation. The Antichrist, unlike Pharaoh, will be given power to make war with the saints of the Great Tribulation and overcome them.

The church has always suffered persecution by the spirit of antichrist. So, the final persecution is truly not significant in any way other that it being the final persecution, and perhaps global.

However, the wrath of God poured out during the Tribulation is an issue for Post-Tribulation rapture believers. This is why I would advise that they at least consider the Pre-Wrath Rapture position over the Post Tribulation Rapture position.
