Prayer for Bro. Benincasa

Bro. Benincasa just texted me for prayer. He has a 105 degree temperature, and today he's carrying 90lb bags of concrete up a two-story ladder. He won't go home, and he certainly will not seek medical help, so please pray for him.

Praying for him. BTW, sweating out a fever by working often speeds the process of recovery, but sometimes you just need to take off and sleep in.

Does he not believe in doctors?

UPDATE: Bro. Benincasa went home early. That is NOT like him. He called about 2 hours ago to tell me he has no feeling in his left hand and feels terrible. Please keep him in your prayers. I know he appreciates every one.

He believes in them, he just believes in Jesus more. :thumbsup

I've seen him go through some pretty terrible physical things, many of which would have sent most people running to the hospital. Jesus came through for him every time. DDB is one who truly walks what he preaches.

Apparently he is exercising his faith to be healed directly by Jesus. There was a time when that was not unusual among Pentecostals.

I tell you what. That should be the case if believers get cancer because chemo is a total joke and will never run through these veins. Chemo kills.

His NAME is Jesus!

I pray that there are elders he can call upon to stand with him in prayer: and that
BELIEVE enough to "...lay hands on the sick, and they SHALL recover."

Praise the Lord, that is good news! Now, he just needs to take a week off from work to recuperate so he can post on the forum and make up for lost time.

Cause we all know we all gotta keep the main thing the main thing.

Last night Bro. Benincasa called to let me know that he was healed and his left hand is back. He called again today to let me know that it is still 100%. God is so good! Bro. Benincasa's computer is shot, so he is unable to thank you for your prayers right now. I'm sure he will as soon as he is able. But until he does, I thank you all!

Thanks for the prayers.

It worked like a champion. I was back to work in no time.

I think they should make Portland cement bags lighter. Concerte is 80 lbs, and Portland cement is 90 lbs. taking off 10 lbs a bag does a lot. Especially when you are loading down, and scurrying up the ladder. Also I drank a Mountain Dew which was not a good thing. May be the Red Dye #50.

Anyway thank you all for the blessings in Jesus name. I thank you and the Benincasa family thanks you. :)

So, what do you suggest? Should I install a new hard drive? Get a new lap top and forget about desk top units?

Should I get an Apple?

Who makes the best computer?

What are your needs? An apple is very expensive if all you need it for is to check email and post on forums.

I currently have neither a laptop or a desktop. If/when I decide I need one I’m going with a laptop. I think desktops take up too much space.

I couldn’t tell you who makes the best. I had a basic Lenovo laptop for college that I sold to my aunt (fairly new). It was very basic. Plastic. Probably wouldn’t survive a few drops. I found a YouTube video to optimize the laptop for gaming use. Whatever the guy did in the video, I did to the laptop. And I deleted whatever apps that I was not going to use. The laptop functioned for what I needed it to do.

If you want something that is going to last a few falls... do NOT purchase a Lenovo.

I need a computer that will last more than six years.
I’m posting on my IPhone now. It is horrible. Too small.

Re: Prayer for Bro. Benincasa

I had a passing thought of buying you a computer, but you keep smashing what you have with your THOR hammer or headbutting it when those outbursts towards me get overheated.

Better stick to your phone, that has a rubber case and you can just throw it at a pillow....LOL
