Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
Will Jerusalem become the "official" capital of Israel soon?
Luke 21:24King James Version (KJV) 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Trump thinks so.... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...wTa88eSVQ1gbWC Another piece of the puzzle fits into place of the ending of the trodding down of Jerusalem by gentiles?:nod |

70 years of failed negotiations are now over.
We are seeing the most powerful nation in the history of the world declaring a restored capital of Jerusalem to a restored Israel. Now I see the reason Trump won....timing. |

Luke 21:24King James Version (KJV)
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Romans 11:25King James Version (KJV) 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. |
Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
It would be unfathomable for any President of the United States to ever declare Jerusalem the capital of the State of Israel.
God waited until the right time to put a man in office that was not a politician to defeat a politician who was supposed to win by a landslide. Jerusalem has been held captive by the US gentile, world power until right now. Notice the headline news of the world. The prophet said Jerusalem/Israel would be an ensign to the world. It is..... Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
More "prophetic" hype over a city God refers to as "Sodom" and the "Synagogue of Satan". The only reason God is gathering the Jews back to the land is so he can judge them. Only a remnant will be saved. Yet the church grovels and bows before some of the most anti-Christian people on the planet. Wake up!!

Which contradicts this also..... 31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. |

Jer 31/Heb 8 was not fulfilled. That is the return of Christ and the saving of them all.
You stole their promise. |
Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
Heb 10:15-17 only "Includes" the church in their future promise, in a partial way.

Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
You see, we are included in a "dark glass" view of the reign/millennium of Jesus Christ and what He will do for them.
He will save them all, but in the 1st century etc., only saved a few of them and a few of us gentiles. |

For Trump, an Embassy in Jerusalem Is a Political Decision, Not a Diplomatic One
WASHINGTON — Ten days before Donald J. Trump took office, Sheldon G. Adelson went to Trump Tower for a private meeting. Afterward, Mr. Adelson, the casino billionaire and Republican donor, called an old friend, Morton A. Klein, to report that Mr. Trump told him that moving the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would be a major priority. “He was very excited, as was I,” said Mr. Klein, the president of the Zionist Organization of America, a hard-line pro-Israel group. “This is something that’s in his heart and soul.” The two men had to wait nearly a year, but on Wednesday, Mr. Trump stood beneath a portrait of George Washington to announce that he was formally recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and setting in motion a plan to move the embassy to the fiercely contested Holy City. “While previous presidents have made this a major campaign promise,” he said, “they failed to deliver. Today, I am delivering.” For Mr. Trump, the status of Jerusalem was always more a political imperative than a diplomatic dilemma. Faced with disappointing evangelical and pro-Israel backers like Mr. Adelson, or alarming allies and Arab leaders while jeopardizing his own peace initiative, the president sided with his key supporters. The Adelsons have long been leading donors to pro-Israel groups and causes, and have forged a close relationship with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They have used their casino fortune to push the Republican Party and its politicians to embrace that line. Early in Mr. Trump’s campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, he privately courted the Adelsons, seeking a meeting and asking for financial support, even as he publicly declared that he did not need or want backing from major donors. In March 2016, Mr. Trump sought to burnish his credentials as a friend of Israel, telling the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the most powerful pro-Israel lobbying group, “We will move the American embassy to the eternal capital of the Jewish people, Jerusalem.” The Adelsons were persuaded and donated $20 million to a political action committee that supported Mr. Trump’s campaign, and another $1.5 million to the committee that organized the Republican convention. Since Mr. Trump took office, Mr. Adelson has communicated with him regularly, talking by phone and visiting the White House, and has used his access to push the relocation of the embassy. But he was not the only influential advocate of the move. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/...a8k&ocid=ientp |
Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
Diplomats are professionals taught to make folks think that having a hole in the head is having an open mind.
The diplomats have lifetime jobs that never find solutions to problems. Historically, most problems have been solved militarily, not diplomatically. |
Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
This post has Zech 12 written all over it....
http://start.att.net/news/read/categ...move_on_jer-ap The nations of the region hate the thought of Jerusalem's recognition as the Israeli capital. This will not die down. |
Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today

Heb 8 is NOT a prophecy. It's the fulfillment. The writer of Hebrews clearly says in verse 13 that Jer 31 was fulfilled. Heb 8 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. |
Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
You conveniently skipped the parts that have nothing to do with you....
Hebrews 8: 8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: 9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. I caught you. |
Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
This was indeed a prophecy, because very few were saved in the 1st century(not all, as the scripture says).
God does not kid with His promise. They will even cease to witness to one another, saying "know the Lord". Isn't that awesome? |
Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
Now, notice the writer of Hebrews addressing the church, concerning the verse.....
Hebrews 10:15-18King James Version (KJV) 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. This is our inclusion into THEIR future covenant, promised to them in chapter 8(and Jer 31). |
Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
We were grafted in, Sean. The first fruits of Israel were already taken. There is no last fruits end time harvest.
In your doctrine Jews were cut off from the tree to be regrafted at the end of time. |
Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
We were grafted into God(via their future covenant), not grafted into the Jews.
|
Re: Luke 21:24 fulfillment/one step closer today
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
Houston, look. They will believe at the return of Christ to save them, per Zech 14. |

Ahmad Tibi, an Arab lawmaker in Israel’s Knesset, said Friday as a crowd began to gather at the city’s Damascus Gate. “Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine and that is the way peace can prevail." This will never die down, until the Lord returns. |
