New Computer
I'd been limping along with a 10-year-old computer and finally upgraded to a Solid State hard drive, Intel Core i7 processor, and Windows 10. It's been easy for the most part, but the worst part is that a lot of my old programs won't work, so it has been time consuming searching for replacement programs.
I am still thinking about whether to invest in Microsoft Office to get a word processor, but wondered if anyone has experience with the free word processing programs out there, and what you would recommend... ? |

I use Open Office as well. I will NOT use Windoze 10. I'd rather use a C64 emulator. :)
Just remember - "cyber security" is a marketing scam, nothing more. |

Re: New Computer
Thanks for all the help! I have heard of Libre Open Office, and I will give it a try. It would be better than paying the outrageous price Microsoft Office wants now for their 365 version!

My computer will have to last for 20 more years. Cans around here aren't returnable. :tissue |
Re: New Computer
I've never known a computer to last for 20 years, good luck with that, lol! :D
