Your Favorite Vehicle
What is your favorite vehicle you have owned and why?
My favorite car to drive was my 1971 Cutless Oldsmobile. I bought it used and didn't care much for the color, but it was fun to drive and had a sporty look. White leather seats, white leather top, and kind of a burnt orange color. My red Thunderbird came in a close second. It was beautiful but didn't drive quite like my old's. |
Re: Your Favorite Vehicle
My favorite car is my current little Honda Fit, it connects to my smart phone and when I back up it gives me a camera picture of what is behind me, it has great gas mileage and handles real nice.

I miss my 1994 Chevy C1500 5.7 V8 :(

Re: Your Favorite Vehicle
I really like my current '93 Mitsubishi Mighty Max, though either the seat needs an adjustment or my stomach does. :lol

Re: Your Favorite Vehicle
My current car a 2017 Toyota Camry. Awesome gas mileage easy to maneuver. But, I think I loved my 2012 Toyota Sienna Van more. We traded it for the Camry, and I almost regret it sometimes. I just miss all the roominess it had! :)

Re: Your Favorite Vehicle
My favorite was a 1969 Dodge Charger. Mopar red, black top, 383, Holley 4 barrel, Edelbrock intake, 3 speed automatic. She was a SCREAMER.
Second favorite was a 72 Chevy step side with a straight 6, no power steering or AC, 3 speed manual, solid white, bed had 2x4s for the floor, an old metal rail off a baby crib painted white for a tailgate, and a Cherry Bomb for the funz. |

Once, in my garage, I cranked it up and it collapsed the shelving in the utility section of the garage. I never heard it. And no, I didn't play rap music with it. Death metal in that system would make your heart fibrillate, though. :) |
Re: Your Favorite Vehicle
For nostalgic purposes, my favorite car is a Silver Shadow or a Corniche.
I miss my old F150. |
Re: Your Favorite Vehicle
I have a 1984 Nissan 300ZX, 25th anniversary edition. T-Bar roof. Love it.

Re: Your Favorite Vehicle
My favorite vehicle that I have owned was my 1988 Chevy Cheyenne Extended Bed pick-up truck. I love driving trucks.
The favorite vehicle to ride in, was from when I was kid. I loved my dad's 1970-something Chevy Nova. Summer weekend drives to the beach with the windows down followed by ice cream are favorite memories of mine from childhood. |

Re: Your Favorite Vehicle
I graduated to a gas hog Ford F150, extra cab.
It is a great work truck and very comfy going from job to job. So comfy, sometimes I dread getting out at the jobsite. |

I hardly use it but cant get rid of it. It is cool. Barely passes smog though and costs a pretty penny every 2 years to squeak it through....LOL |
Re: Your Favorite Vehicle
Been driving Chevy/GMC s10/s15 for the last 20 years. Right now I have a 2003 Chevy S10 extended cab with a Canopy that has side windows that open up so I can get to my tools from the sides.
Right now I have the Toyota 2200 4 cylinder with a 5 speed, the only thing I wish is it had more power. The older S10 had a v6 That was nice. Just bought my wife a new CIA optima brand new, she loves it. |

Re: Your Favorite Vehicle
If I had to pick a favorite, I'd have to go with the 1969 Saab Sonett that I've owned for the past 22 years. But if your talking about the ones I regret selling, lol, well the 1966 Sunbeam Tiger would have to top that list. (No, it wasn't a mixer! It was a little English sports car that came stock with a Ford V-8.) Wish I had never sold it or it's sister Alpine V. Besides those, I regret selling any of the many other Saab's that I've owned from a 1968 96 3-cylinder/2-stroke to several Model 99's, 900's, 9-3's and 9-5's. All great cars.

Back in high school, a friend's dad had two pintos. One was a white coupe, black limo tint windows, mag wheels and big fat tires, carpeted interior (I mean the dash, everything), souped up motor. The thing would burn rubber like you wouldn't believe. The other was a red Pinto station wagon (two door). Red carpeting everywhere inside, monster stereo system, mag wheels, and the back window panels replaced with bubble windows (you know, like on the old 70s era cruisin vans). It was quite a sight when a red Pinto station wagon pulled up all tricked out and ten long haired hippies got out with a massive cloud of smoke rolling out the doors. It was even funnier seeing a small white Pinto coupe roll up and the same ten hippies climb out of THAT little toy. lol |
Re: Your Favorite Vehicle
Loved my 97' corolla. It went 360k miles and lasted me through my teenage and college years. I was rough on that car. Badly damaged the axel driving off a steep embankment as I was starting up the mountain on my 45 minute commute to college (It almost flipped on me). Got it towed out and miraculously didn't get a ticket and drove on to college. The car normally went great in the snow though I once got stuck in the snow and backed into a fence post trying to get it out. I was going up a large ruted gravel driveway I probably shouldn't have been trying to go up. Hit our porch as a slid through the wet grass in the yard. The hood flew up and flew off going through town. The casing for the marker light beside the headlight flew off going down the highway. Side swiped a guard rail not 1 mile from my house going about 5 mph. The locked in the car would freeze in the winter and once you got them unlocked and the door opened it wouldn't latch back, so you had to force the lock down where it would freeze in place again and you had to wait on it to dethaw to unlock it. Cops loved to follow you in the thing too. It was so beat up they just knew they were going to get them a drug bust or DUI eventually.
