Today is Elder Gary Howard "Left Behind". This one was good, he said we need to be focused on the imminent return of Jesus Christ. He said that's as important Acts 2:38. The Apostles lived like that, and so should we. Have a good day Brothers and Sister's.

Well if you live like he can't come tomorrow, you are living contrary to how the Apostles taught in the NT. They weren't waiting for a time long in the future, so if you are, that's going to effect your spiritual progress.

But TJ not just because Elder Howard said it although he is my Pastor's Pastor, he would act almost as Bishop of my church, though he didn't build it. I advise listening to the sermon if you haven't already, especially if your going to comment. Don't just take my word for it either.

Be specific what your speaking about, give the time which it took place so we can get the right context of what was said. And present scriptural evidence that says contrary to what he's saying.

For starters:


1. Mattew 24 has nothing to do with us today.

2. No where does it teach a warning for the church to be worried about being left behind as if thats a bad thing . In that text the righteous remain and the wicked are taken. It's a good thing to be left behind.

So let me get this straight you believe in verse 36-42 with the context being verse 37-39 that the righteous are left behind, and the wicked are taken? Did you ever read Genesis before? Did the wicked get taken or left behind? Did you ever read the parable of the Ten virgins? Or 2 Thessalonians? There is many more but what are you basing this off of, and where is your scripture?

The wicked where taken. Who was left after the flood? The righteous! Who was left after destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah? The righteous!


But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Same applies to tares and the wheat, the tares are taken away and the wheat is left.

Yea but they had to be taken away.
Did Lot stay in Sodom? Did Noah stay there? The tares and the wheat were separated but it never said they stayed there either. They had to both be cropped then separated.

What is this belief called because whatever this is makes sense how people could be deceived after the true church is called out. They will believe they are the ones with the truth, and then the Khundalini spirit can reign. Do you go New Apostolic Reformation church?

Not 2Thessalonians the end of 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 specifically 15-18. Now in verse 17 it says "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.."

This word "up" comes from the Greek Word "harpazō". Which means "to seize, carry off by force, to seize on, claim for one's self eagerly, to snatch out or away." So where is the basis for your theory the righteous are left. Matter of fact Strong's says "pluck pull take". Just as the wheat and the tares shall be separated.

Point being, he used Matt 24 out of context. Those taken were the wicked and those who were to remain was the righteous. Those left behind want the wicked.

The text does not say that or allude to that that's why it specifically names Noah. The wicked remained and we're drowned, the righteous were caught away and saved in the Ark. Another times it uses Lot he was cuaght away and saved while Sodom was destroyed.

Even in the parable of the tares and wheat, it's the tares that are gathered first, which happened at the end of the world (age).


Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Yes, the tares are gathered into their neat denominational bundles, waiting for the burn, while the wheat is gathered into the Lord's storehouse.

Jesus specifically says the flood took them away! When its was all over Noah(righteous) and his family were left.
