I like Stoneking but he gets a little far out for me. Once he talked about a portal or pathway that angels have over his house and he feels them when they pass over his house. I distance myself from that kind of stuff.

Ever heard "Don't Forget Shiloh" by D.C. Moody?

Bro LS and Bro RH were both too sensationalist for me.

Hey this is the best Lee Stoneking message I ever heard. Besides his teaching series on the Tabernacle, Revelations, and Daniel the 70th week. When he preaches sometimes he does get real sensational. But the man would be awesome to have a revival with for real. You can't get what you could from him a lot of the time, because a lot of it is you had to be there to experience it.

If you never heard this one I recommend it.

Ask your pastor which Lee Stoneking messages are his favorite.

Brother Stoneking preaches about having faith for the impossible to be possible.

No start the video at 43:00 because that is when Brother Stoneking starts to preach. everything before it is all local church business. Whatever you do don't get Tithemister to start from the beginning of the tape.

Lol I pretty much believe I know the look he's going to give, though he probably won't say anything. I said Jeff Arnold to him before and got a look but he didn't say anything bad. But a look can say a thousand words!

Whatever else anyone thinks of him, when he exhorts the church to praise: "The Wonderful, Matchless Name of Jesus Christ!" you get up on your feet throw you hands in the air and praise the wonderful, matchless name of Jesus Christ.

If he has done nothing else, leading the church to adore the Savior is gift enough for the saints.

So it’s ok that he makes up stories. Ok.

I don't believe he's lied.

The story I heard him tell of Bin Laden's wives was not from him. He said he was told by someone of this happening.

If someone tells you something and you don't have a reason to not believe it, and then share it publicly ... is it your fault for trusting what was told to you?

We know Stoneking believes in faith and believes God can do anything. I don't know of any other person who is as serious about faith as he is. So it doesn't surprise me that he believed what was told to him.

Yes, if you are a man of God standing behind a pulpit you are responsible for vetting "stories" you tell as fact. LS is famous for stories that are discredited later. Remember the "voices from hell"?

Years ago when he was a topic here I mentioned that I had heard him in person once at BOTT and then online quite a few other times and not once did I heard one of these supposed "masterpiece" sermons. I pointed out that in fact his sermons mostly seem to be wild stories and red meat catch phrases used to whip an old time Oneness Pentecostal crowd into a frenzy. The response at that time from some of his syncophants...er.......fans on here was "well.......he builds faith".

But this reminds me of another thing I don't like he does. And that's tell stories all these people said. That's when he gets super fanciful. Im not saying hes lying but he shouldn't be talking about all these peoples experiences from the pulpit.

Have you ever heard this one? He said some stuff in here that struck me as a little out there. Not all of it but kinda.

I am in a position to give or withhold permission for what's okay for him to do or not do when he preaches? Come on! That's got nothing to do with my post.

I am merely offering some counter-balance. His exhortation to worship the Savior is a prophetic gift to the church, despite anything else he says or does afterward.

Don't you know some otherwise respectable people who still do some boneheaded things sometimes, and isn't it likely those people are you, me, and everyone else in the church?

I have learned that mercy rejoices over judgment. Give him some mercy, already, and get some in return whenever you say or teach or believe something wonky.
