Are you familiar with this guy? I hear he’s prophetic. He’s coming to the area soon.

I was planning to be back in Houston by the 15th, but have run into delays. So, I’ll be here for the meetings.

maybe he wants you to confirm his preaching is prophetic?
how do you define prophetic preaching?
preaching that is confrontational and not politically correct?
like walking up to someone and saying, "thou are the man," and that man runs to the altar and repents?

Start at 23:50 of the video. He stops preaching and calls out a man to pray with him and goes to others from there.

Yes he is good. Prayed for my great nephew who had learning problems. He graduated this year.:happydance

It means just what it says, given its the "prophetic" that peaks interests maybe you will see something that will satisfy your interest. If you wanted to hear from God you would have a Pastor but you want to be entertained and maybe you will be.

I’ve been attending this church Wednesdays and Sundays, and Cell group on Thursdays for a month. But, ok. You got me figured out.


I don’t like to be entertained at church. I get upset if a preacher cracks a joke. I’m not kidding. If a guy is labeled or self describes as a prophet then I expect him to be the real deal. It’s not a joking matter.

You don't believe in the 5 fold ministry? I don't think this guy is just saying he's a prophet. Anyone who calls themself a prophet is suspect to me. Even Elder T.W. Barnes didn't call himself one, which he was used in the prophetic by God a lot. I didnt mean to ruffle your feathers. I think Berkeley does well enough explaining his motives.

The only way it could be entertainment oriented is if it was a sham though. Man real prophecy isnt always entertaining, it could be a serious rebuke from God, or even a warning you were going to die, or that tragedy is up ahead. The only so called prophets people are entertained by, is those false prophets that always prophesy peace, prosperity, and wellness...

Hey I seen a singing prophet at a charismatic church one-time. The guy said we should ban all islamics from the country, after that I knew that was all him it had nothing to do with God. "He missed it."

That's where that guy I seen probably got inspired by, but thats not him. I take it that guy had a at least a 3,000 retainer that I seen. They gave him that much for coming, and then his message was as he prayed with everybody "we need to ban all islamics from the country." I was a baby in even believing in God. This has been like 10 plus years ago, but when he said that something in me said this dude is as false as fake teeth. Today, I know he was a straight heretic and someone needed to tell him about himself.

At 14 after I repented I began to watch TBN. My first exposure to Kim Clement was onTBN’s Praise The Lord, now known as Praise.

Kim was palying a keyboard and “prophesying.” It was very weird and didn’t sit well with me. The music was horrible.
