Teaching in the Golden Triangle
 

I will be teaching Friday day June 29 at the Gulf Coast Camp at Vidor, Tx. there at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ where John Bullock pastors.
The meeting begins on the 28 th and runs through the 30th. Elders Hyler, Miller, Howard will also be preaching but that is my time slot it you are in the area maybe we could meet?

My wife, eldest daughter (when she was a baby), buster the dog, and I lived in Vidor for about a year many years ago. I thought one of my neighbors, an old crotchety man was going to invite me to one of those "meetings".......Ha Ha Ha

They have been having them for about 40 years.

I think he was joking about a different organization's meetings. One which I don't think would like true Apostolics.

Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange, Texas. It used to be said that the Golden Triangle oiled the World!

I was born and raised in Port Arthur. My Daddy was a Gulfy Mule. He worked for Gulf Oil and retired from Chevron after it bought out Gulf. At one time you couldn't fall down without bumping your head on a refinery.......well almost.:lol

Some folks from my church are visting their relatives in Beaumont.
They wanted to go visit a church so I gave them Pastor Doug White's number.

Is he in Beaumont or is he in Silsbee?

LOL .... I remember driving through Texas and seeing all the oil wells that were being drilled and pumping! Seemed like they were everywhere - certainly in parts of the state.

Golden Triangle.I haven't heard it called that in years.We have oodles of relatives living in that area.

We might could get together I will have my wife and nieces with me? I am preaching closer to you the weekend. I will be preaching Sunday morning and eveing at the First Apostolic Church at Highlands. Right in your back door.

Ah, Vidor, Port Arthur, and Beaumont. Nothing like the smell of oil refineries and chemical plants to start the day!!!!

Well the folks there says it smells like money.

Today I am at Highlands, Tx. preaching for Elder Tommy Jackson. I preached Wednesday nite at the church Elder Mike Phillips pastors in Vidor and taught Friday at the Gulf Coast Camp at Vidor where Elder John Bullock is pastor. Monday nite I am preaching at Starks, La. where Elder Jeremy Shields is pastor and Tuedays night at Faith Tabernacle at Port Authur where Elder Randy Hammer is pastor. Then the 4th is our wedding anniversary we will be heading toward the Atlanta area where a relative is getting married Saturday. Be home for Sunday the Lord Willing. Tired somewhat but I will have a couple of days to recoup after Tuesday. Good services everywhere in spite of the preaching preaching.:sly
