I read that the interviewer is a conservative who likes to play devil's advocate, and Ben didn't know this and then accused him of being a liberal. Which is why the interviewer said what he did - "“Mr. Shapiro, if you only knew how ridiculous that statement is you wouldn’t have said it.”

He teaches some very elementary things here. The Church is the temple of God. Well yes, something we learned quite well and early on in the Jesus Movement.

I watched it all and much of it SEEMS like a straw man attack.

What "Christian" group or teachers are out there with the exception perhaps of Hagee that are associating the unsaved Jews with Spiritual Israel?

What group or Teachers are out there teaching that the Old Jerusalem is the New Jerusalem?

What "Christian" group does NOT teach the Church is the temple of God?

We keep hearing God has nothing for Israel today. They are merely a creation of the UN in 1948.

Yet one night in June 1990 I had a dream about a great number of people. There was a strong sense of fear, and it was because of what they could do to Israel.

Then the Lord impressed the word IRAN on my mind and the number 50 thousand. I prayed God would protect Israel from Iran.

Later that day an earthquake hit Iran. The reports at that time said some 50 thousand people died, 200 thousand were injured and 500 thousand made homeless.

I wrote these things in my journal and concluded, whatever Iran had planned against Israel was set back for some time that day.

So I do believe God restored the nation of Israel in the Earth in 1948. He used the United Nations to do so. He has spoken things about Israel that will in his time come to pass.

Mike is now a world leader like a king? The Bible records world leaders getting dreams about worldwide events. Nebuchadnezzar's image, his cut tree with a band of Iron. The Pharaoh and the lean and fat cows, dry ears of wheat, and healthy wheat. So, I think the bigger question would be why does God give a dream to a man living in a trailer in Kentucky? John the Revelator is given his visions because of his status as Apostle. His obvious influence to the churches.

But Michael Gibson? I didn't know he held that much sway with Christians world wide. But Mike doesn't tell us that he reported his dream to anyone on a worldwide scale. Yet, Mike has the power with God to cause EARTHQUAKES?

Mike, you can cause earthquakes when you pray?

I was in a meeting where a preacher claimed God had him pray to destroy the space shuttle. His justification was that God told him that the space shuttle was dangerous to God’s people. There were some oohs and ahs, but just as many raised eyebrows.

Someone I know who has been attending an Apostolic Church for 3 years has decided to join a Messianic fellowship.

It seems an obsession with all things Jewish is taking some in the wrong direction.

If God did reconstitute the nation of Israel in 1948, it to gather them for their final judgment. God's anger is still kindled against them. He shewed forth that wrath in 70 AD. Since then, they inevitably have caused enough problems in their host countries to be driven out and persecuted time and again. I believe the latter is also part of God's judgment against them. He will not let them keep trying to reconstitute themselves as a people unique in the earth, especially when they treat their host Christian nations with such treachery. He reminds them time and again that their boastings in the flesh are an abomination and insult to the blood shed by his Son. Certainly God loves individual Jewish people, and as Christians we should love our Jewish neighbor as ourselves. But when they group-up to perform treacherously, all while boasting in the flesh (their ethnic identity), God's wrath in kindled.

Also, God wants to protect Israel but your doctrine demands that they are killed in a holocaust greater than any in history. Explain that.

I never said I was asked to pray. I knew to pray.

Gods ways and purposes are not just stationary. He has brought judgement upon the Jews many times. He has delivered them many times.

You have not yet discovered the difference between the Israel of the Bible, and the modern imposter-state calling itself "Israel", in spite of the fact you have been told and shown multiple times.

So there is no "we", it's all YOU and your inability to accept Truth, lest it upset your ideas of the "end times". You've invested so much into your belief system that anything else just "does not compute". You seem unable to even understand what is being presented to you, let alone critically examine things.

Mike you then were given the number of men, women, and children who died. Why do you think God wanted to let you know how many Iranians were going to die? What benefit was that? How about great revival in Israel. God getting you and your wife over there to baptize Israelis, and even baptize Iranians in Jesus name.

But the doctrine for a Tribulation is that the Jews get crushed and you get raptured at the end. So, wouldn't the best ting be praying that God would bring judgement on them? Since that is the modus operandi of the Greet Tribulation.

I know my own "evolution" on this topic came when I asked myself why we stand with God's justice against Israel spoken by the prophets in the Old Testament, and we stand with God's justice in 70 AD, but post 70 AD we start coddling the Jewish diaspora as they are driven from one host country after another. Suddenly they are the victim. Suddenly they can do no wrong. I had to be honest with myself and investigate why they wound up being so hated in countries that initially welcomed them with open arms. Does that mean all Jews are "evil"? No. Does that mean they are not sometimes scapegoated? No. But their presence in great numbers seems to lead to problems. They have become like Cain, marked as a fugitive in the land of Nod, running from righteousness that is by faith, and still going about trying to establish their own righteousness.
