Raining
 

It is raining so hard we could not have church tonight. On Monday nights we always have ladies meetings. So I was able to fix a nice supper and we are all gathered in the living room.
What are you all "up" to tonight?

It's been raining here, Sister Alvear. Glad you all got cozy.

My husband was almost struck by lightning this morning. All the hair on his arms were standing up and the guy next to him got shocked. They all got in their trucks and came home.

Packing right now -- leaving in a few hours for the airport. My husband already left. He's flying out of Seattle to Boston.

I'm flying out of Vancouver on the red-eye to Toronto. Four hour layover there and then on to Saint John, N.B.

What am I going to do with all these shoes?!! :heeheehee

Our guests went home a bit ago and now I'm sitting here drinking an ice cold glass of Vernors Ginger Ale while thinking about turning in for the night...

Well, we played games with some of the kids...bingo and sorry, ate home made cookies while they were still warm. Had a very nice evening. Now some are getting ready to go to bed as 6 rolls around early.
Hope all are happy like we are. We love you folks. Will write on a few more threads and call it a day.

Yeah we do! Jon about freaked out the Saturday because someone pitched a cigarette in our yard. He saw it smoldering on the grass and about came unglued. But there have been too many wildfires the last couple of months for stuff like that. People should have more sense.

We don't - we just got almost two inches this afternoon in just a few minutes!

We did too, but when it rains like that it doesn't help alot. We need a good slow soaking rain....
