To mark LGBT “Pride” Month, the US Embassy in Russia defiantly and prominently displayed the flag of the homosexual movement outside its building on June 2020 and posted a message written in Russian on its Instagram saying: “Today, the US Embassy in Russia honors the LGBTI Pride Flag during the #PrideFlagDay celebration.”

It was a provocative maneuver for two reasons.

In 2013 Russia passed a law banning homosexual propaganda to children and teens.

Secondly, Russia is advancing constitutional amendments, introduced by President Vladimir Putin, defining marriage as being between one man and one woman only.

As far as CAUSING IT I suppose when God sends him. We know there are things that precede his coming. To save the human race? That at least some flesh would be saved?

1 Thess 1:9-10

Jesus the Son of God is waiting to come down from Heaven. What CAUSES HIM to come? He is only going to do the will of God. Thats for sure.

I used to hold to this statement but there are other beliefs concerning this.

Some say that the sin Ham did was to commit incest with his mother while Noah was asleep and that the outcome of that incestual relationship was Canaan. Thus the reason that Canaan was cursed. They hold because Ham had already been blessed that Noah cursed the son that came from that sin.

Gen 9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.

They feel that this term "seeing the nakedness of the father" was not about what he did to Noah but instead was what he did to Noah's wife, his own mother.

Those that believe this use the verse that appears to be back up the thought...

Lev 20:11 And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

This thought appears to be consistent in that it is carried over to others.

Lev 20:20 And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

Lev 20:21 And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.

If this is true, which is open for discussion, then we see that the reason that the curse came was for perversion not homosexuality. Is homosexuality a perversion? Absolutely. But the descendants of Canaan practiced all manner of perversion not just being queer.

We often hear about the Hamatic curse but there is no such thing. If that was true then all the descendents of Ham would be cursed with the curse. But the curse was given to Canaan and this curse was why the land spewed out the Canaanites out after the Jews came out in the exodus.

Lev 18:26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
Lev 18:27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
Lev 18:28 That the land spew not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spewed out the nations that were before you.
Lev 18:29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

The descendents of Ham are many, in fact there are more tribes of the Hamatic people then the tribes of Shem and Japeth. But only Canaan had the curse.

Gen 9:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
Gen 9:26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
Gen 9:27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
